What are your thoughts on the rclt kit? Is this a dedicated trail only rig or u driving it daily as well? Im super interested in getting that kit but dont want too loose all the comfort the 4runner has driving either.

RCLTHD is a beast of a kit, indestructible imo. I went with this kit for the ability to offroad, rock crawl and daily at the same time as opposed to going SAS. It rides like butter on hwy and offroad. You won't be disappointed. Only issue are the RCV axle boots constantly tearing prematurely but thats another topic for discussion and not really Marlins issue.

@OffroadLifestyle5thgen ive heard about the boot issue as well. Seen several people are starting to run the CVJ axles and just carry a spare as their boots dont seem to fail as often. Are u running a dana 60 in the back or running spacers?

@@jasonhouk7939 I have a spare CVJ axle I take with me for trail repair. So far just LT shocks and springs with 2" spacers in the rear. Im planning on going D60 and 3link next year.

Is 4x4 needed? I’ve done 3n06 but never 3n06A I have 33 wild peak at3ws and some reaction boards but a little nervous to try 3n06A

When its snowing, ice or muddy yes 4x4 , lockers is needed. Good condition maybe not if you pick the right line. I have seen some 2x4 have to get pulled up in the rutted sections
