    Abstract
    The coronal heating problem is a long debated question in solar physics. The anomalous heating of the solar atmosphere has been speculated to have several origins, one of them being the existence of nanoflares. The search for such small scale explosive events in the corona has led to the need for high spatial and temporal resolution imagers. Previous attempts to image the corona in high spatio-temporal resolution were limited to sounding rockets (e.g. Hi-C) where the time window of such studies was only a few minutes. With the advent of High Resolution Imager on Solar Orbiter, such an observation campaign with comparable resolution can be extended to a few hours which is a significant improvement from the predecessors. The inclusion of coordinated observations from SDO supports studies on such small scale corona phenomena. In this talk we would look at some examples of such dynamics. Moss emission occurs in plages near the core of active regions and are found near footpoints of million Kelvin loops. The variability of moss intensity is speculated to be a signature of the existence of nanoflares that may be present in the upper transition layer/lower corona. Another such case is of the stratification and substructuring of cool coronal loops. Resolving loops to reveal their true structure has been important as of recent since the anatomy of loops is inferred to be more complex than our previous understanding.
