I do prefer the s5 look but I have a s4 88 gtu I bought for $700 earlier this year before my 17th bday from a guy in my town and it’s been sitting for 15 years it’s almost up and running been working on it with my dad I got a pair of Recaro spgs for free off marketplace and other thing for it so far but I love my car

got as 86 S4 with front damage and it needs body work. does the frame, wheel well, the cross bars and all metal infront of the strut towers have the same measurements?

Wrong about the diffs.. t2 diffs we’re all clutch lsd. Na’s we’re all open except the gtu which was the only model to ever get a viscous coupled lsd, mostly because they sucked when new and really sucked 30 years later. Turbo lsd got the larger 8” ring gear .

Everything I’ve ever read states that only s5 gtus and s5 t2 came with viscous lsd and s4 came with clutch type but there is different sizes of diffs so not all interchangeable. But hey this is all based on forums, I’m not a full time rx7 mechanic so I’m not speaking from direct experience
