Create fantastic hand-painted watercolour postcards to amaze friends and family while on holiday!
Wonderful tutorial! Hot tip for anyone trying this: applying a thin layer of Dorland's wax medium will waterproof and protect the painting while it's in the post. Works beautifully!

Thanks, you are welcome!
I really love this technique, have followed your earlier tutorials on painting across multiple taped spaces. As always, I find that my attempts are not something I would send to myself much less others, but cut up make lovely bookmarks. Recently I started sketching little scenes on them with dip pen and ink, and have enjoyed the results.
Thanks so much for sharing, great idea!
Love this idea! Thank you for sharing.
Many thanks!
Lovely, only the cost of the postage will prevent me from sending to all family and friends. Last summer I resorted to photographing the postcards I painted and emailing or Whats Apping them.
Thanks, great idea!
