- Movie version of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Haven't played MGS3 before or just want experience this epic game again? Then this video might be for you.
At the height of the Cold War, America's greatest agent, a woman known only as The Boss, defects to the Soviet Union. At the same time, an extremist named Colonel Volgin fires an American-made portable nuclear missile at the Soviet design bureau OKB-754, sparking an international incident. In order for America to clear its name and avoid World War III, The Boss' last apprentice, a man named Jack, a.k.a. "Naked Snake", is dispatched by special forces unit FOX to assassinate the woman who taught him everything.
The funniest thing is when Snake is getting tortured: Snake, Eva, The Boss, and Ocelot all want Volgin dead. They're all in the same room, but they're all playing each other, so they can't.
John Choi right lmao some twisted shit

Normally these "video game movie" things, where it's literally nothing but trailers and cut scenes poorly glued together in windows movie maker, really piss me off. But, I can tell some actual effort was put into this, with the footage of the boss fights and other parts of gameplay, the way it's edited together actually feels like a movie instead of, again, a poorly stitched together mess.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is
"You're pretty good!"
With Konami games they kinda have to. They cant copy strike if there's gameplay, but if it was just the cut scenes he wouldn't receive any revenue for all his hard work because those were made fully by Konami, so the gameplay not only adds context but makes sure his efforts aren't in vain
Why do i see chuck norris in snake
@@ramonvalenzuela1119 Chuck Norris wishes he was as awesome as Snake.
Poorly edited cutscene movies serve no tactical advantage whatsoever
Yea these took a long time to make. They do a great job on these, I totally agree. It makes sense and really captures the main story and gives gameplay footage where it helps and codec convos when you need them. Really good job.
To become Big Boss he has to defeat the pain, the fear, the end, the fury, the sorrow and then finally the joy of battle. By the end he has nothing left.
if i remember correctly, the end wasn't the end.

The ending to this game was, in my opinion, the greatest in video game history.
The level of honor and respect for the Boss and her story.
The double cross by Eva.
Then the triple cross by Ocelot.
When I first saw it, I sat there in silence while the credits rolled. The emotional rollercoaster ride was so intense. The fact Eva didn't kill Snake after double crossing him just to tell him the truth. How honorable the Boss' sacrifice was despite how everyone would see it.
Then Ocelot comes on the radio and completely blows my mind after the credits were finished. I literally stood up and clapped in my room.
If you walked away or turned it off at the credits you could have missed the best part of the story! What a masterpiece of a game and something games should all aspire to. What quality and depth.
Ohh yeah bro I felt the same way. What a masterpiece .
Sameeee dude
*Tips Fedora*
Fun story. I called Ocelot being Adam when Eva first shows up instead of Adam. Me and my friend played through the whole game. With me going on and on about how it's definitely was Ocelot. Only for him to tell me "I told you you where wrong" as the credits roll. You can imagine the reaction when the other shoe dropped.
I almost did. Went to Reddit and saw comments like “Ocelot is ADAM etc) I’m like what? Then found out at the end everything and I was like “ohhh gotcha”
Better than most Hollywood films...
Yes indeed I would rather watch any of the MGS cutscene movies than a Hollywood film anyday.
Agreed
UnkeptMoss328 ikr, i would totally watch 7 hours of metal gear in theatres (referring to mgs 4 length)
UnkeptMoss328 most Hollywood films these days lick balls; they just don't keep you interested
UnkeptMoss328 Makes 24 look like a Kiefer Sutherland Mid-life meltdown! An HBO Super-big budget TV show of that caliber is the only thing that comes close to being able to express in that format.

The cinematics of this game, regarding the cut scenes... does nothing other than send shivers throughout my entire body, even almost 15 years later. Fantastic directing, i really cannot put it into words how amazing this game is. Nothing out there today, or in fact, ever since, has surpassed the drama, cinematics, dialog, or story... including everything from Hollywood to other Action games. Kojima is a godly person for directing this game, and i cannot put it into enough words how amazing this game, and the series have been. I can play these games again and again and again, i doubt anything in my lifetime will surpass the adrenaline and dopamine that is released by my brain besides the metal gear solid series.
The game series and your comment I can not like enough. Isn't Hideo Joking a ducking genius not only for every single metal Gear game he has done but the games are so good when discussing them on a public forum this one and other nobody fights or argues. Hideo Kojima brought a perfect game into the world that brings all brothers from all four corners of the Earth a little closer together. God bless Japan... God bless this world... God bless Hideo Kojima
This game is superior..pay attention to the speech in the end before snake and boss have the final fight... pay close attention to the story she tells.......PAY ATTENTION 👀 especially the part when she went out of space.. listing to what she said she saw...listing!! The truth is hidden in plane sight.. that's all I gotta say... you figure it out.

This is actually a result of a translation from Japanese. In Japanese, it is normal to repeat the last thing someone said as an acknowledgment of what they said. like to show that you are listening. The English equivalent of going "mhm"
Before you go snake, would care to give me head?

Isnt it scary how a lot of us were just kids when started playing the metal gear series and had no clue what all of the story meant or alluded to but as we get older,at least for me the story and the politics is scary accurate and true and believable in every sense. We never know what's happening behind closed doors and what a lot of Dark Ops consist of. Probably things beyond our own understanding as normal every day citizens.
A man of culture i see, We were ahead of our time.
Ocelot role in this entire story is absolutely incredible.
Yeah. He’s been there, like, forever. A Boss since the 1960s.
Eva’s role also surprised me in the end. I’m not gonna spoil it but damn
"Spread your wings and fly. God be with you". That line gives me goosebumps everytime.

Big Boss and The Boss are more than just master and disciple.
They're more like mother and son... like best friend who would give their life for one another.
A pure form of love that one could only experience with the right person at the right time.
Even double agent like Eva cried for them.
Quintuple-agent, if you think about it (by MGS4). But I'm not even sure, might be more.
So 2022, grown adult, played tons of games and movies since... This ending still crushes me :(
in the hands in the right director this would make one hell of a movie .... or even a book this is one of the best games ever made
I imagine this game more like a Netflix series (kind of, not necessarily that format)
well we're hopefully getting a movie, also pretty sure there is a few novels of Metal Gear Solid, I know there's a childrens book based on Metal Gear

I have loved this game series as one of my favorites. The ridiculousness that is HALO dropping into enemy territory and immediately having a philosophical conversation about mission completion and devotion to meeting objectives is totally MGS
2:44:01
And then a good 10 minutes of Snake and EVA trying to fix his kneecap, dance around, crush Snake’s balls, attempt to get some yoga in, make a cock joke, eat a cooked jungle snake and find a transmitter

Good eye! I totally agree that The Boss is a phenomenally complex antagonist
It’s brilliant writing because when you hear the line you figure it’s just like a figure of speech
Kojima likes to play with the audience. Right at the start of the second game, if you call Otacon often enough when on board the oil tanker, him and Snake eventually have a brief conversation about the Patriots. And in the first game the real DARPA chief being killed by torture is mentioned numerous times and even shown in a flashback, but it’s not until very late in the game that all the pieces get put together when Foxdie is introduced and it becomes clearer precisely who Snake was talking to in the cell (and why). Also if you try and call Master Miller at shall we say certain points throughout the first game, he won’t answer. Kojima’s plot twists aren’t hidden as such - he deliberately leaves plenty of clues behind.
The best of the series. A genuine masterpiece.
That was probably the longest ladder climb in video game history.
What a thrill
The Debriefing scene still tears my heart out. The music, the realization that the whole mission was a ruse, that you had to murder arguably one of the best human beings to ever live in the MGS universe...and THEN play along as everyone that manipulated you give you a medal...all over money.
