The trails look like they have some awkward features and aren't as smooth and flow-y as they could be. Is that the case? The one wall ride on the jump trail seems really short, a lot of the curves seem to have flow-killing tight radii -often right into another reverse tight radius curve. Just curious. thanks.
Yes, you are right some of them are not very well done but some are fairly well done and a lot of fun. There is definitely room for improvement but overall it’s a blast if you want to go you’ll have a lot of fun no doubt definitely worth the trip.
I am stoked to have more trails/parks added to Michigan. However, this looks like it's on the same level of some local trails. They have a ton of room for growth and I hope people keep going so they keep adding to it.
14:15 - 14:19 that front fork need to be a little faster on the preload or rebound setting. you can see it give right before the tire comes off the deck. Also, your torso moved but your arms locked at elbows. Give a little more yank on them bars and you'll send that drop proper! Keep it up with the vids. Great work!
@Serhiy Altman I hope so! That's "my spot" when im up north,we have a place in kaleva and mesick, kaleva is 15 min away Are you doing the trifecta races this year? New trail we'll be working on named after my buddy who passed in traverse on his bike last year we have a foundation and alot going but its called "Musil express" we have a trail day coming soon.
Wow, this looks like a totally different place then when I was there in 2019! Even the lift looks different, maybe it is a different place in the same area with the same name? lol. Edit, just googled it and it's the same place, they have just totally revamped the park and looks like they are in fact using a different lift! Well done!
I seen you Vid on it and, another one aswell, and the lifts clearly have changed with racks. I doubt I will make it there this summer, but maybe 2023, or 2024. Looks like a long drive.
Ok...do I need to be worried...before I broke my collar bone that would have been funny. Now I cringe every crash I see. Did you smack your head? Great Video!
Thanks for doing these videos!
Thanks for watching!😄👍

Yes I agree but it’s downhill park so it’s not really comparable to local trails in my opinion
hitting that long jump to flat going mach-5 is a bunch of fun.
Yeah it is 😄
Great video, nice see another park in MI coming along
Thanks, it’s coming along nicely

That was going bad I should have bailed earlier! Thanks
by the looks of it. They have a ways to go to compete with Boyne Highlands. I'm headed here tomorrow. Will update.
Have fun 👍
It was alright. It's no Boyne. But it is their first full year. They have room to grow. It will be interesting to see what the years bring.
Only open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday :/
odd schedule... I wonder why Wednesday... Maybe over time it'll become a bigger draw?
Yes, it’s a bit odd but I guess that schedule works the best for them and the more people will start coming the better the schedule will be I think

@@SerhiyMTB Thanks for video. it's tempted to head out there.
@@nostr8ghtlinzs596 yeah thanks we are stoked to have second downhill park in Michigan 🤙
I used to snowboard there years ago. Thanks for the guide! I like the narration. I’d like to take my Mmmbop there. Think it’s hardtail friendly ?
Thanks, yes it’s very much hardtail friendly

I broke my collar bone last year as well! I did smack my head a little but not bad! Thanks
nice man what kind of moutainbike to you have
I have 2021 specialized status
How crowded are the trails normally? Is this place good for my first time?
The place is perfect for beginners! It’s not really crowded and the lift is pretty fast
How many runs were you able to get in during the day? Seemed like a long line at the chairlift.
We were riding for 11-3pm and got 10-11 runs
