I must say this is such a detailed video and impressive to see the profit potential for a cotton candy business! And thank you for the detailed insights, very educational!
Pretty sure that's gong to be a question that depends very much upon where you live. But any event with high traffic and a good percentage of children is going to do well. Whether that's going to be a Farmer's Market, Sporting events or fairs/festivals really depends on where you live.
@@floatingcottoncandy I live in montreal canada, i made a few calls to the local street food vendor association. I need to make a bid with event organizers and rent a space to operate. Is it the same for you?
Can the Robojet run a 10 hours? Thank you so much for the valuation. I had no idea how much went into this. I'm definitely doing the $5 CC I'm off to next video!
It could run 10 hours easily as long as you know how to control the temperature. There is a science to the machine and after 3 months with it, I think I've cracked the code. Very profitable if you're in the correct environment that's for sure.
I’m just starting out with my business. Is the Robo jet floss good for taking to farmers markets? I want to sell bagged cotton candy too, or do I need to get a traditional machine?
Complicated question, and there's no one answer, but here are the variables.... First, yes... many operates use the Robo JetFloss at farmer's markets and similar outlets. Mostly, the attraction is to Float the cotton candy because that's what draws all of the attention! That said, I've communicated with many operators who do use the Robo JetFloss for bagging. While it's probably not as efficient for this use as a more traditional machine, the floss tends to be much lighter and fluffier than anything else and that creates a product with competitive distinction. Personally, I'm in the habit of serving the Floating Cotton Candy on the stick or straw at such events whenever there are customers present, and then bagging it when there's a lull or calm period without buyers. Not only does this prepare bags for those who want to eat and run (so to speak) and can't wait for a fresh spun cone, but... and this is very important... it also means I can be Floating Cotton Candy in the air when people are just walking by... and that tends to attract more customers. So, some only use the Robo JetFloss to make cones when a buyer is present.... others use it to exclusively bag cotton candy off site. But, a great many do both. :-) Long answer... but I hope it helps!
