I appreciate how hard you tried, and that you admitted what happened in the end. I spent 8 hours and $80 in tools trying to replace my rear wheel bearing on my motorcycle. In the end, I brought it to a mechanic who did it for $25 and had it ready in less than 15 minutes. I want to learn how to do it someday, but practically speaking, hiring a professional can be the best route.
If you haven't already changed your NAVI tires yourself, give it a shot. The motion-pro rim protectors don't fit, but there is always a sharpie to hide the scratches. So long as the rubber is warm, it isn't too hard to do with two to three smaller tire levers (the large ones can just get in the way). I've done it a few times on the NAVI and each time its about 30 minutes of cursing, and right when you are about to give up, it snaps into place.
I just watched Your video with the Navi oil change you have great personality thanks for making videos and be careful on your motorcycle.
