Too bad that CP3 didn’t ask to be bought out of his contract and join the Mavs when they went on their championship run. Alvin he would have a ring as a member of the second union. Dirk would had more help but CP0 would have to be a part of the garbage time minutes at the end of the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
Chris Paul is the definition of "almost as good as LeBron James." He'll increase your wins like LeBron, but he can't win you a Championship like LeBron. 😂😂😂
As an Illinois fan my first introduction to him is when wake forest was number one in the country and my Illini beat them by like 20. I said to myself that day that Chris Paul sucked and 17 years later he’s only proven me right lol
Tbh i wouldn’t call him a pure choker thats Harden. The only real choke is against the thunder game 5 2014. Other than that jus bad luck and injuries either him or teammates like Blake. 2021 he played bad game 4 2022 I can’t defend him. But the 2-0 leads blown is outta proportion.
I'll be honest I didn't know Paul was in the conversation for the top point guards of all time. It was always 'top ringless players' that I saw him being put in.
Naw so many people were even putting him top 5, and giving him silly nicknames like "point god" I got pretty damn annoying. I have him maybe 11th after Curry, Magic, Isiah, Stokton, Kidd, Robertson, Frazier, Payton, Cousy, West (I have him grouped with Nash/Archibald/Westbrook) Than after that is Kyrie *Kyrie/Westbrook are weird ones though, not sure where I should actually put them.
@@AJ-sl7be Oh heck naw, Paul made it to the finals by default. Kidd finals 3 times (and won 1), Cousy - well Celtics speak for themselves. If that was the case than Westbrook (mr. triple double) is easily better than Paul, same with Nash's 2 MVP's which isn't really the case. After this series sorry CP3 but you kind of lose points. Point guard is usually the floor general, if you can't get the team started right out of the gate than not sure what to say really. (yes, yes. Oh he was injured talk) Than that must mean his team knew about it and were deflated right from the get go. *Last year/this year 0 excuse. Specifically last year, the man was up 2-0.....again and couldn't close the deal. Actually same with 1 of the years for the Clippers, and arguably 1 while with Houston.
@@parkinsaw Kidd's peak is worse and lasted way less, had no playoff success with phoenix, then made two finals runs because he played in a horrifically bad eastern conference with the nets. @@AJ-sl7be CP3 - Blown so many leads when his team was clearly the better.....until they lose and than excuses come piling in. Oh you see CP3's team was actually bad yada yada. He had a prime Harden (which I have over Vince Carter) that Clippers team, and now Phoenix. So your saying Kidd should have made it to the finals than every year while he was with the Nets if the East was so horribly weak. (hmm kind of like how Lebron did, you know the only person to do so in the modern era) Also he should have won that MVP when he first came to the Nets, but Duncan got it but anyways. *Phoenix's record this year was *64-18* that's pretty much a finals appearance or bust situation (unless serious injuries occur). And yet 1 player absolutely dismantled that whole team. (In 1 half) Nothing that happened in Kidd's career can even come close to anything of that magnitude lol. When things go well CP3 was the key, things go bad, not CP3's fault (usually the narrative is injuries)
Yeah well guess what Chris Paul....... Try staying healthy for once!!! Many players have many different abilities and not every player is as good at everything as someone else ....... Not everyone has the same abilities, and obviously one of the abilities that Chris Paul does not have........ Is playoff availability!!
2008: it was his playoff debut at 23 years old, going up against the defending champs Spurs with Duncan, Parker and Ginobili. Have u ever considered the fact that his teammates played so horribly that the Spurs won simply by stopping CP, the only reliable scoring option on the hornets, from scoring? How is this his fault? 2013: he played one bad game (game 3) but played amazing in games 5 and 6, dropping 35 and 28 respectively while Griffin got injured and his other teammates didn't show up. How is that his fault? Does one bad game define how he played throughout the entire series? 2016: him and Blake both got injured in game 4 and cudnt even play for the rest of the series. Why is that counted against him? 2021: this is most egregious cuz u simply used his averages from games 3-6 to paint your narrative of him choking that series. Yes, he played awful in game 4, but he played up to his standards in game 5 and above his standards in game 6. Did u not account for the fact that it was Booker who had the late-game turnover that cost them game 5 at home, and it was Booker who was a no-show in game 6? Your inability, or rather reluctance, to dive deeper into each game of the series is so painfully obvious that it just makes ur analysis seem biased and incomplete. 2022: yea he was terrible in games 3-7, but he legit had to carry his team in the 1st round without Booker, having to dominate in 4th quarters of games 1 and 3 to win by less than 11 points and playing a literally perfect game 6 to only win by 6 points by going 14 for 14, bearing in mind he's a 37 YO, 6-foot tall point guard. Booker, who is 25 YO, a 1st team All-NBA member, 5th in MVP voting, and the best scorer on the team, played like garbage in games 6 and 7. Did u miss those details too? CP is by no means blameless due to his turnovers and lack of emotional leadership when his scoring was off, but to blame this solely on a 37 year-old point guard just seems disingenuous. There were certainly playoff series which he should take most of the blame, namely 2014 WCSF against the Thunder, but to simply label him a playoff choker without proper context is silly.
@@raheem201231 I just gave a year-by-year account of what happened to him in the playoffs. Which years in particular do u believe he choked? Also besides 2016 Finals, I don’t believe Curry is a playoff choker.

It’s not trolling or hating. If I’m a GM, there are close to 20 PGs that I would rather have on my team than Chris Paul if given the option because of his complete inability to perform at a high-level when it matters most. The ultimate goal of the game is to win, and Chris Paul simply can’t.
You don’t have to agree with it, which is the beauty of sports debates, but I’ll stand by what I’ve said and continue to back it up with based on the criteria I’ve set.
You sound mad dumb it’s plenty of all time greats never won rings and you gave Lowry on here you must be brain dead Lowry was known for scoring 0 in playoff games but go on this be the type of niggas calling him point fraud
At least he’s trying. Proud of him.
Great vid, bro!!
I think CP3 needs to avoid playing alongside a player who currently dates Kendall Jenner.
Let's not forget that aside from the elimination game yesterday, D-Book was also trash in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
Oh yeah that Kardashian curse is never leaving the NBA. Yet people still make that same mistake 😂
@@Alvini_Linguine True, bro!
Players never learn about the Kardashian curse.
When we picked up Chris last yr I was ecstatic and didn’t believe in this curse. But damn ha ha ah ab ha ha ah
It wasn’t 2-0 but the series against the Warriors in 2018 in the WCF they lost.
Avery Johnson undrafted. NBA champion.
Choke Paul CP0
As a Chris paul fan this hurts man....although they were too cocky against Mavs...not too mad about that loss actually since they got cocky instead of just closing the series out
He aint no Point God More like Choke God
What’s the song used during the trailblazers portion of the video?
Basketball is a team sport.. it’s not fair to say Chris Paul blew these leads when other players on the team didn’t show up.
Chris Paul can’t be the best player on every team he goes on… He needs a legit side kick.
Hence the warriors have steph with TWO side kicks
cp3 is great great player but people saying he was better than zeke is lunacy.
your voice actually is exactly what i would imagine a black 4chan guy would sound like
also, tim duncan “one of the best” pfs of all time? the fuck? he’s number one and there’s really no debate whatsoever
I’m convinced he switched with his brother cliff
Chris Paul is overhyped by the NBA media. Man is a walking L who will never win a chip.
i'm pissed because i was swearing for my life cp3 is miles ahead of john stockton, and even though i think he still is, i woke up that morning and reconsidered that statement.
Atleast Stockton has more finals appearances than CP3 👁😂
@@Alvini_Linguine exactly, but i still can't rate him higher cuz that mf was carried by pedo malone and had 0 bag
@@Alvini_Linguine if malone wasn’t on the jazz Stockton wouldn’t do anything and probably not even hold the assist record
13:11 He injured his shoulder and finger wouldn’t exactly call the first one a minimum injury. Also Milwaukee was the better team. He could have done better, but they lost to the superior team.
You know what forget what I just said.🤦🏾♂️I just remembered Game 4 was winnable, Game 5 was definitely winnable. The Bucks only beat them by around 5-10 points. Looking back at Game 6, they lost by 7. These team sucks and these niggas have no excuses.
BTW, Clips blew a 2-0 lead vs Grizz in 2013 in the first round. LA beat Memphis in the first round in 2012 in 7 games.
Your title should say Chris The “Choke Artist” Paul. Not The Chris “Choke Artist” Paul
Paul RIGGES games !!!!
watch first half vs Mav game 7
you can see it !!!!
Point fraud😂😂😂
This isn’t surprising rondo said the truth Chris Paul is never winning a title ❤️
put so respect gregg popovich name
Hornets cp3 was the shit
Chîld prêdatör 3
Aight bruh
He'll get a ring as a Coach
15:35 A fully healthy team.......without tim hardaway?
W
But devin should have been a better player this series tbh
No matter how many times I see that I always ask myself self “what the hell was Blake Griffey doing?”
This 2022
Steph curry proved he can win before, during and after KD.
Chris Paul proved he is a choker
Stop comparing these two. They are not on the same level
Too bad that CP3 didn’t ask to be bought out of his contract and join the Mavs when they went on their championship run. Alvin he would have a ring as a member of the second union. Dirk would had more help but CP0 would have to be a part of the garbage time minutes at the end of the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
ofcourse thats cp3 effect
Chris Paul is the definition of "almost as good as LeBron James." He'll increase your wins like LeBron, but he can't win you a Championship like LeBron. 😂😂😂
Not even finals GOAT james jones can save him
im a cp3 but like he is as bad as doc when blowing leads
CP3-0 🤖
I think Chris Paul Needs to join the warriors then he just might win a championship
Still remember when everyone compare him to steph curry 😂
How has scott foster not been investigated yet
Because it's clearly not him that's the problem. CP3 is a choker
As an Illinois fan my first introduction to him is when wake forest was number one in the country and my Illini beat them by like 20. I said to myself that day that Chris Paul sucked and 17 years later he’s only proven me right lol
Bruh against Memphis Blake was out
You expected a 37yo to carry the team? He's not there to do that. This was on booker.
He still didn’t show up until the 4th quarter damn near. He’s not here to carry but he didn’t even show up in game 7
I have been saying this for years about CP3 aka "Shorty Dirty". He chokes. People thought I was hating on him. Proof is in the Pudding.
The proof is your an idiot
can anyone tell me what Luka was saying?
He said “Everyone act tough when they up”
All that flopping him and Harden were doing did not pay off.
Tbh i wouldn’t call him a pure choker thats Harden.
The only real choke is against the thunder game 5 2014.
Other than that jus bad luck and injuries either him or teammates like Blake.
2021 he played bad game 4
2022 I can’t defend him.
But the 2-0 leads blown is outta proportion.
Harden 😆
So turning over the ball in clutch time is bad luck
Clippers eliminated Grizzlies in 7 in 2012.
It should 2013
I'll be honest I didn't know Paul was in the conversation for the top point guards of all time. It was always 'top ringless players' that I saw him being put in.
Naw so many people were even putting him top 5, and giving him silly nicknames like "point god" I got pretty damn annoying. I have him maybe 11th after Curry, Magic, Isiah, Stokton, Kidd, Robertson, Frazier, Payton, Cousy, West
(I have him grouped with Nash/Archibald/Westbrook)
Than after that is Kyrie
*Kyrie/Westbrook are weird ones though, not sure where I should actually put them.
@@parkinsaw Chris Paul is definitely better than Gary, Kidd, and Cousy. Stockton/Frazier is debatable imo.
He repeatedly lost in the first round even when he had Vince Carter. Eventually he wins while being the 6-8th best player on the 2011 Mavs. Kidd didn't have a better career than CP3
(hmm kind of like how Lebron did, you know the only person to do so in the modern era)
Also he should have won that MVP when he first came to the Nets, but Duncan got it but anyways.
Jake Paul is more clutch than Chris Paul LMAO
Yeah well guess what Chris Paul....... Try staying healthy for once!!! Many players have many different abilities and not every player is as good at everything as someone else ....... Not everyone has the same abilities, and obviously one of the abilities that Chris Paul does not have........ Is playoff availability!!
CP2-0 Lead smh
Nba is rigged bro Chris Paul gone go down as the best loser 😂 n think about it how the last nba finals team both lose in blowouts 🤔
Bob Cousy is better then CP0.
Oh you read every single comment how about this one
Poop
🥲Yes I do😭
2008: it was his playoff debut at 23 years old, going up against the defending champs Spurs with Duncan, Parker and Ginobili.
He a serial chocker. Funny how they spent years saying curry a choker.
@@raheem201231 I just gave a year-by-year account of what happened to him in the playoffs. Which years in particular do u believe he choked? Also besides 2016 Finals, I don’t believe Curry is a playoff choker.
@@JCLaw1116 Dribbling out of bounds, key turnovers with 10+ on the clock. Missing a shot is whatever but turnovers when your whole label is Point God. Serial Chocker. So is Lillard. Lillard has only won 4 playoff series in his career. Curry has only lost 4.
