Great video mate! I've done this trail quite a few times and did last weekend. Awesome trail. I will check out your other videos as i'd love to do more trails around Victoria and New South Wales! Thanks for sharing mate!
@@erikekdahl6233 That is great to know, and plan ahead, I've checked out your other videos will def do the other trails you suggested. How long did it take to do the whole trip (Lillydale to Warburton)
@@jaypeetoledo1227 I've done the Lilydale to Warburton quite a few times and I usually do the return trip in 5 or 6 hours including stopping for food etc. So it's kind of a whole day out. Now that the ring of steel is gone I'm hoping to get out and do some more trails, there's quite a few more really nice ones out there. Eventually I'll try to make a video for all of them.
@@erikekdahl6233 We did it 15 years ago was the odd tree over it, it ran along a river. I wanted to do the Bicentennial National Trail from Healesville to Corryong but I had a knee replacement so not up them high country hills now
Love this trail. I live 15 minutes away and do this ride a few times every year. I'll start at the Lilydale Station car park and ride to the Shell servo out the back of Warburton which makes it an 80km round trip. Best time for me is 3h35m, no idea what I had for breakfast that day as I'm usually 10 minutes slower.
It's a great trail isn't it, I've done it quite a few times too but I live on the other side of the city so it's a whole day out for me, I usually catch a train to Lilydale. 80km return is pretty much a perfect distance for a comfortable ride.
Thank you for sharing this. We are trying it out for the first time this weekend :)
It's a great trail, you'll love it.
I love your videos you get me inspired

Nice. Thanks for sharing
How do you go home from Warburton do you have to ride back to Lilydale to catch the train home?
That's what I did, so it was an 80km round trip. There is a bus but I don't think they take bicycles.

Has the Warburton to Poweltown Trail been closed Now days
I'm not familiar with the Warburton to Powelltown Trail, but I just googled it, looks pretty good, I hope it's open still.
