Another enjoyable video, love catch & cook as it brings the boyhood memories back, especially the campfires. Thanks Matt, Merry Christmas to you & yours.
Time for TT, Ting Thumb season has arrived. How you cook is up to you but eating, fresh caught fish is the end result. We got a bit of dancing too. 🐸💖🤗🤗🤗
1. Structure, structure, structure. Dont chase fish...go to the structure. 2. Deep water is the home of the fish. 3. Make the most of the fish that are there. Hoooray for the lowly whiting! I love you man - youre such a personable chap
Nice one thanks Matt! Not been out much as not too well, but reports are saying very few Whiting down here. The Fishcakes looked delicious! Merry Christmas to you & yours - Stay safe & well! 🎣🎣👍👍
Just did my version of your fish cakes following your guide, but with my freshly caught mackerel, very tasty, but didn't look anywhere as good as yours :) your Michelin starred compared to me Ha Ha
Thanks for the recipe, looking forward to trying, have been using BBC cooking recipe for Thai fishcakes using whiting which work well. One question I spotted what looked like milk when you were frying, was it ?
@@SaltwaterAngler Its tricky to get ones with a good belly. The amount I've caught that had the length, but then when I've cut into them to fillet they've gone down like a balloon.
Good video cobber have u tried fishing warrior square always caught a mixed bag of fish there as a teenager fishing Hastings beaches and old pier .Happy catching from AUSTRALIA Nick
@@SaltwaterAngler caught some good sized bass there useing live prawns good whiting & codling useing sprats lug & hermit crab, Happy catching from AUSTRALIA Nick
Nice one! I noticed the insta360 cam, how do you rate it? I've also seen that a lot of mountain bikers have started using them of late and they do look very tidy
Yes I like it ! Ideal for quick b footage really and lots of mounting options. Reasonable quality footage , rubbish at night - editing in post is quite easy and it films in different orientations so you can use it across social media. Horizon levelling is brilliant. It doesn’t overheat like older gopros
Ah yes I remember doing that with cod back in the 70's. Great memories! 😀😀
Thanks for the visit I still think whiting although edible is down the pecking order
