haha, tichondrius has like 1000000 hit points, they really made sure no one could get through that undead base, but someone still managed to do it and without cheats
To be more specific, Tichondrius's Divine armor reduces non-Chaos damage by 95% (before regular Armor reduction). For non-Chaos units, those 1725 hit points were like 34500 (again, not counting Armor or regeneration).
Start at 14:06 I am completely unexpected he can do this. The teleport method is outstanding. Now, you are no longer afraid the timer reach 0. No need to make haste anymore:D
I like how you sold the Slippers of Agility and then grabbed the Jade Ring. Honestly tho, this feels impossible without having amazing micro, I managed to destroy the whole Orc base relatively fast but I doubt I could've even gotten close to beating Tichondrius (same as Cenarius without drinking Mannoroth's blood), or if I could he prolly would've come back to life before I destroyed the Altar lmao. So just chapeau to you.

In addition to the TP trick, I suspect another subtle trick he uses is constantly waking up units Tichondrius sleeps. Since Tichondrius prioritizes sleeping enemies over summoning infernals, this means he uses it far less. Or it might just be the regular cooldown, not sure. I made a custom version of this map where I connected the Undead base to the mainland, I killed Tichondrius with Ancient protectors and it took forever and was pretty miserable. But his method is way better.
In my patch the undead computer defends territory to prevent the people from besieging his camp. By the way I fist time see this in WC3 campaign. Tychondius also doesn't attack at all in your patch.
Trying to do the teleport, but for some reason wisps don't teleport across the chasm. All other unit types will. Anyone else having that issue, and anybody know the fix? I've tried having them sitting there, repairing, with other units, teleporting them alone, nothing has worked so far.
Look at how he teleported them. He clicked on the cleared from trees territory, not on Tree of Life! I made the same mistake at first try but reviewing this video helped me.
The campaigns used an earlier version of ROC, one where the Dryads had the same armor type as archers instead of "Unarmored." Thus they were much more resistant to piercing and siege in the campaigns.
The Dyrad armor difference didn't help much against Undead's regular units, though their immunity to the Infernal stun did (all units are damaged by ultimates in recent patches).
not sure how much damage the internals do when landing, but if they dont bring archers into red hp, I think the cheap archers would be more cost-efficient because of their dps and can be spammed from 2-3 Ancients. Tichondrius takes just 1 damage per hit so attack speed is best I think
Strategies that failed me: Defending with ballistas and wisps furion via town portal cheat/teleport to buy time? Failed moving ancients/building them near fountain to get them closer so that I could replenish army fastest?? failed My strategy of an in between FINALLY worked just earlier tonight 1. Begin. Move army to 2nd gold mine immediately obviously including the dryads. Begin moving protector to 2nd gold mine immediately + Moving Ancient of War there immediately, 2. Train 3 or 4 wisps asap for lumber harvesting and move them to nearest trees asap. Train another wisp and move it immediately to tree near 2nd gold mine 3. Make a tree of ages next to 2nd gold mine + Start harvesting gold from 2nd mine asap but harvesting lumber first until TOA is built and gold mine is entangled. 4. Train 2nd ancient of war right near 2nd tree of eternity 5. Get all upgrades for far left of options and middle options asap while building army of around 33% huntresses, 33% archers and the rest ballistas ( want to have at least 5+ ballistas minimum by the time the blade hero 1st attacks you if possible). defend against 1st small orc group attack at 2nd gold mine Move army(ies) to the fountain right near orc base and kill few already to the left of that fountain. Main 1st big orc wave will attack some time around 60 trees remaining ish mark 6. Defend against this attack via Micro managing the crap out of your troops (TURN ON the auto cast for the firey arrows on Tyrande!!). focus fire down grunt or two..then shaman or two...by this time Hero blade master arrives...micro back and forth to fountain individual troops as needed and focus fire his ass down with EVERYTHING kill him in every way asap. alt key is your friend here I think *** Make it a point to where every 10 seconds or less you're pumping out more troops with one ballista for ever two or three archers/huntresses all the while and rally them right near the fountain...so when the fighting really starts...get used to counting out loud ..when reaching 8 to 10 seconds..hotkey to confirm you've bought another ballista or huntress or archer ( or dryad if you preferred to build a Lore instead of a 2nd Ancient of war. *shrugs* ) 7. After beating the blade master and orc rush enough, heal some if needs be, then use the 5+ ballistas to quickly massacre the first defense arrow tower, immediately pull them back as one to three orc troops will rush you. focus fire each down asap and micro a troop or two back to healing founding as needed - dip in and out ...killing each and every loansome orc enemy that roaches , ........then orc borrow, ................then orc burrow on right, then straight up to orc barracks and especially kill orc hero alter fast, No need to kilil entire orc base..just 90% of all structures straight up and to the right hand side. Chances are you'll be at around between 20 to 38 trees left ( depending on luck and/or your skill or setup) when you've finally cleared a real path through without peon's being able to rebuild to where you can keep rallying troops straight to tyrande to have enough to take out all three guardians + the stupid wildkins with barely 5 to 20 trees to spare in the end. upon killing the final guardian and the wildkins putting Tyrande close enough to the horn to get the Main Quest completed message of victory. Ballistas are DEFINITELY your friend...here with archers for distance as huntresses can tank with tyrande focus firing down the wildkins fast ( around two out of the three first then the guardian..maybe you'll have better luck doing the guardian first then the wildkins that come with each guardian *shrugs** Hope this helped someone. No, it's because he has the divine armor type, only chaos damage works on him, anything else is 1 damage

Wow, well played! I think this is the hardest "Hard" mission in WC3 and it took me over 30 tries without the teleport trick.
Wow, brilliant teleport trick. I was able to use it to destroy the out-of-reach bases on Night Elf M4 to fully clear that map.
