    Easyto understand the use of commands.

  • @mimibecks7049

    Hi,
    Thank you for excellent video. I learned a lot about commands and use if shift and Alt keys and others that I did not know they existed.
    For me and as begiñner, you were going a bit too fast and I had to stop and repeat many times. As suggestion, if you can slow down a bit, that would be great. Otherwise, a great tutorial and I really like Rhino. I have studied AutoCad, inventor, fusion 360, solid works and now trying to shift to Rhino simply because I can buy the software instead going to see subscriptions that can add up quickly.
    The only thing that I did not like so far is extrude of curve using a curve. I do woodworking and typically I draw my profile perpendicular to rectangle and I extrude my profile around the rectangle and I end up with mitered joint at each corner. That is not the case in Rhino. I had to create a cutting curve and do a lot of trimming to get mitered look at each corner.
    Thank you
    Mimi

    When you are in the Perspective view, how you draw the curve verticaly (z axis)?

    • @jayati.design
      @jayati.design 7 лет назад +1

      Just turn on "ortho" mode.

    • @GOUTAMKUMAR-vs3op
      @GOUTAMKUMAR-vs3op 7 лет назад

      my ortho mode is on but the curve is but d curve is in horizontal wht i have 2 do?

    • @jayati.design
      @jayati.design 7 лет назад

      why don't you just make the curve in front view?
      Otherwise in perspective , if you move your cursor upwards, it automatically snaps between horizontal and vertical. Also , keep planar mode on.
      If you have anything else you want to ask.. just ping me on my channel.

      If what others suggested doesn't work for you, it could be this: discourse.mcneel.com/t/elevator-mode-on-mac/6262/3
      (solved it for me)

    hitting control does not lock my xy coordinate so that I can move into the z axis. does anybody know how to fix this????

    • @louis189201

      Hold ctrl and click at the position you wish to move in the z axis. This can also be combined with the tab and shift functionality.

    ok networksrf is a pain in the ass. the mac version is NOTHING like that. you just basically hit networksrt and it did it. mine is not doing anything even though I gave it three different curve! UGH!

    • @TheTrippleTKA
      @TheTrippleTKA 9 лет назад

      ***** Unable to create surface. NetworkSrf requires three or more curves in each direction.
      so freaking done with Rhino mac. Windows look so much easier to work around

    • @jayati.design
      @jayati.design 7 лет назад

      Rhino for windows is definitely more intuitive..though I use both!
