Sir but qualitative characters which are highly heritable which are governed by non additive gene action ....quantitative character are less heritable which are governed by additive one ....then how it is possible gca has higher heritability if it is also governed by additive character
Hi sir, your lecture is very good , but im still confused. In reciprocal recurrent selection, what happened to last or final selected lines A and B? Are these selected parents breed ? To produce AxB and used in productio ? Your clarification will be highly aprèviated.
How is it possible that after combining two good GCA parents we will get high SCA. GCA shows additive gene action which in turn is associated with homozygosity and is fixable. SCA on other side shows non additive gene action either dominance or epistasis which in turn are associated with heterozygosity and are non fixable.
Sir plz tell me one thing ..u say sca is non additive it's wight ..but my question is that it's heritable or not...sir u mentioned in your slide that sca is non heritable..plz tell.
Sir plz don't your content is good ... your capability to make us understand is also good but try to mend it in your own words it ll be more helpful dont be language biased ... hope u ll take action regarding this .. tq
If u aren't comfortable with teaching in English! U can go with Hindi too we haven't any issue until you are explain the topic flawless or without lagging !!! But please remember as a viewer I don't understand what u want to say just because of u chose the most irrelevant way to explain in which either u too damn not comfortable

Very very nice explanation sir
Tqu sir, sir please make Vedio on early generation testing for combing ability in cross pollinated crops
Sir why SCA is related to A×A , how additive × additive can give Sca i think A×A is not related to epistatic?
Thank you Sir for wonderful explanation..

SCA deals with the performance of crosses. So for cross first you have to decide the performance of parents that's two good gca used.
Very useful
