After watching this video, what do you think about Ralf Rangnick becoming Manchester United's next manager - potentially on an interim basis until the summer before moving into a director role?

Ralf Rangnick Has an amazing philosify, I am sure he will bring the changes we need at the club. How real is the posibility of signing him? @UnitedPeoplesTV ?

He looks like a good tactician but doesn’t look like he would excel at all as a manager, his record at other clubs is good, but not spectacular. He imo makes a great DOF but I don’t think the Glazers will allow that considering the potential of him snapping at the board if the board doesn’t do well or exposes as just cash cows.

Stop making excuses bla bla bla, "its never going to happen", "it can't be done" and all that BS stuff...
If you really want something to happen, go for it. Excuses can never change anything in life. You have to start off with the right mindset starting with positivity, not negativity.
Wake up mate. Have some passion and action to do something great. Take action.
That is exactly the way to go. Any fanbase that wants the owner, board, manager out and get the right people in, have to leave the stadium empty on matchdays and boycott the club merchandise outlet whether they like it or not. You have to put in the effort if you really want to see real change. It has to come from you First, The Fanbase.
Hurt them in their pockets. The boards' income, the owner's profits, the club's revenue is coming from you, The Fanbase. Wake up guys. This is the way to do it. And not just a band of people doing scrappy divided things here and there off and on, The Entire Fanbase have to Come Together and Do it Collectively for a Common Cause. Cut out all the BS talking, the complaining and non-stop whining because it won't make much difference. Take proper action Collectively.
Its that simple people, its not rocket science.
You, The Fanbase have the power because the club's revenue and profits is ultimately coming from Your Pockets, You The People.
Action Speak Louder Than Words. You want change? Then put in the action to show for it...

Listen, that is exactly the way to go.

He always was an impressive coach with every club he managed. Been watching him since the 90's. Teams would always drastically improve, especially with athletic and technical players. His only problem was that he hated the politics of being a manager/coach and dealing with media pressure, which doesn't make me think that he would be ideal for ManU, although he may get over that to add rescuing ManU to his legacy. It's been playing old man football for too long.

We had an upgrade of Rangnick in 2014 in the form of LVG. Shame he didn't have a good enough squad and was crippled by injuries. He certainly had a philosophy and was a serial winner. Was good enough for Barca and Munich but deemed not so for Man U after 2 years & FA cup win? Yes football was poor in 2nd season but he had a 3 year plan.

    • @mrrrrr5158

LVG was deluded. I had to endure game after game at OT that was bereft of anything resembling any natural attacking instinct. Barring 2 games that United dominated under LVG the rest were poor. He had to go.

It was this that ensured United secure all these great talents today..he was starting to go Ajax way,,pick Rashford, Tuanzebe, etc bring other young lads and start from there... Ralf Rangnick also likes the academy 17 -23 years players he finds easier to shape.. Isn't Erik Ten Hag a young LVG ? Ralph Rangnick would probably want another job at United if he was to be on interim manager. He would be a great sporting director (we've needed someone like him as sporting director for years!), but the club have only recently appointed Darren Fletcher as football director so I don't think they would change things so quickly (as it would make them look incompetent, which of course they are).
Ideally it does make sense to get Rangkick in as interim manager (even though I don't expect massive changes in a short period of time, but he would at least lay the ground work and do the restructing that's needed) and once a permanent manager is found (Ten Hag in the summer?) then move Fletcher into another role and Rangnick into director of football role (as we need someone with Rangnick's experince, not Fletcher, who is probably learning on the job).

  • @proppageezer
    @proppageezer 2 года назад +10

The Man Utd board maybe distancing themselves with Rangnick because he's difficult to work with, but it's more so because he is happy to come in as an interim manager until the end of the season, but be wants that to follow with a position on the board and we all know that the current board are not willing to relinquish power.

We just need to clear the old way and make way for a new one. Thinking how Mat Busby, a Man City and Liverpool legend/captain made us a great side, then SAF who was from Aberdeen and paved the way for those 2nd striker and winger-fullback era, I think its better to clear out SAF's influence and people and get with the modern time. Football has moved on. We still have the identity of getting youth out, giving them chances, great wingplays, great second striker, but we need to move on and look for managers who has that philosophy
