not for nothing, but your skin looks INCREDIBLE in this
And her makeup
Yes! Mashallah * :))
thank you Taylor! you are too kind 😭
Agreed!!
“...now im eating burnt pakodas with someone else..” 😭🤣
This is on Point ! I thought I was the only one who's messed up but honestly videos like these make you feel normal. Thankyou for creating a realistic content.❤️
Right?!
I agree this ramadan has been such a fail spiritually for me
Being a newlywed is an adjustment. Moving from home is an adjustment. Be kind to yourself about expectations for Ramadan and Eid. Be kind to others as well.
Ramadan and school is not it. It kills the vibe and i have no time for anything😔
you got this!!!!
Same here
@@TazzyPhe Thank you💕
I’m in school too and work full time as well:(
the color blue suits you great
thank youuuuuuuu!
@tazzyphe yes, you look absolutely gorgeous!
Not my first Ramadan married but I feel you. Just add in being a revert with young children. I have no clue what Ramadan traditions I should be creating.
hats off to you! must be very challenging!
I’m a revert doing Ramadan alone at home (Canada is still locked down) and I don’t know what traditions to partake in either.
Sis as a moroccan girl m telling u this : personally....HARRIRA IS THE HARDEST THING TO COOK PERIOD.
As a revert Married to a moroccan man.. it is the only thing i CAN cook 😂 working on msemen 😖
@@JannahInProgress reallyy !? Mashalah well if u can cook it trust me sister u are gifted and that means that u can cook anything ❤❤❤ good luck with the msemen 😂😂
It's a soup 🤣 it's easy. Difficult thing is shebakiyya
Really?? I had a hard time getting the taste right but i find it easy getting it done 😆
@@Nezeo cellery, tomato paste and lots if ma’knus 😂 thats what gives the soup taste! 👍🏻
Oh lord! I felt the same way my first few ramadans after being newly married... you have the whole house plus husband and work etc to juggle and you just can't find time to slow down and have that spiritual connect that seemed to have come automatically during ramadan when at your parents home/not married... Shiiish. I thought I was the only one and that my imaam was dwindling. Got into the rhythm in my 3rd year of marriage though Alhamdulillah :)
Harira is a moroccan soup , we usually make it A LOT in Ramadan , it's quite delicious tbh
it's soooo good!
It's not just moroccan soup its north african in algeria we make it too and not only in ramadan
It’s my second Ramadan with just me, my husband, & our two cats, and it does not get easy 🥴 but definitely rewarding alhamdullilah!
I am a convert and all my Ramadans I was by myself and I liked them all Alhamdulillah I would spend more time with other convert friends and all... Now that I am married and this is my first Ramadan too + in laws, it’s way too different! I just took it very slow and cool, one day at the time trying to catch up a little bit on how much spirituality I had when I was single during this month. This is just part of the adaptation and slowly I’m realizing my new role and what works best for me. I wish all the best for all the new wives. 😘
omggg you litteraly voiced my exact thoughts! this is waaaayyy too much to handle! the pressure of Ramadan is pilled up on top of regular stuff that are expected to do as a new wife (cleaning, cooking and looking good doing it). Thing is, this year, instead of managing my expectations, I kind of just gave up, started strong but feeling pretty much defeated now. Doesn't help that masjid are closed here. Glad to know I'm not the only one. However, we are still in it, not too late to focus on what's most important and eat those burnt samosas for now, we will do better in the next one inshAllah!!
Insha'Allah! and we still got 14 or so days left!
Why are you expected to do all the cooking and cleaning? I don't mean it in a bad way... Just curious.
@@flora7447 No of course! It is not something expected from my husband, not at all, he is the chillest dude ever lol. We clean together and he helps cooking cause I actually love to cook. I think the expectations come from myself and my culture. You see people sharing their beautiful table spread, beautiful decorations etc. so you start to think that this is how it's supposed to be and beat yourself over it if its not that way you know?
@@myriembelgharbi2707 Yes, I understand completely. I'm South Asian and all the women in my family turn into these typical desi housewives after marriage and honestly it scares me so much. Thinking about marriage gives me so much anxiety because I'll never be able to fill that role. I feel like my culture has ruined the concept of marriage for me because most desi families I know have these submissive, unambitious, family oriented wives and I'm nothing like that.
@@flora7447 aw, I was the same to be honest, the key is really finding a great person that shares your values and will slowly deconstruct these fears by always being there for you. My husband knows I get anxious when the house is not clean (even if he doesn't see the mess I see) so he will clean the whole house just so I feel better. Having someone who truly cares about you really makes a difference. The societal pressure will always be there in a way because you lived in that your whole life but it can be different in your little world!
Tazzy....you don’t need to decorate because that awesome “sabr” portrait on the wall behind you does the job! I confess I used to decorate when my kids were younger, but I stopped doing it a few years ago. Your Ramadan efforts will ebb and tide during the course of your life. Don’t worry!
lololol I am literally just the "Live.Laugh.Love" lady in a different language 🤣🤣🤣
Dearest Tasneem, I love your videos, you're always relatable, funny, witty and make me laugh even when I feel the world is just not a welcoming place to be. Bless you! Can't wait to see what's next 🤍
I forgot how much I loved your content 😁 I hadn’t watched your videos in years and this was the first one 😊
My first ramadhan since I married too. I feel you. 😔 I don't know why, but I feel so lost. I have ALL this free time, I should be piling up the Amal, but instead it's been the most unproductive Ramadan of my life.... Everyone expects me to be wowing my husband with my culinary expertise. WHY do they have such expectations??! I don't! Well I do in my mind, but that's as far as it goes. Usually come iftar it's a race against the clock to put SOMETHING on the table. By now my husband should b used to having iftar in 2 parts! The part that's ready by Magrib & the rest that gets done after Isha! Insha Allah I hope it gets better. For me and for you sister, and everyone else struggling.
Omg this is my first married Ramadan too. Sooo relatable 😂
The spirituality part is just so so relatable.
This is why I love you, thank you for speaking for my soul
Your videos always bring me peace even when I’m in the lowest of moods. I truly love and enjoy your character and sense of humor. Thanks for the A1 content sis
🤗🤗🤗
Lovelyyy girl, I absolutely love your honesty and how real you are on expectations vs. reality, I admire that so much! I truly truly do hope that you are kinder to yourself for the rest of Ramadan (and the other months as well) because you are adjusting to a new home, circumstances, and environment. It’s absolutely okay to be doing what you’re doing! Regardless, you’re doing great and you’re doing the best you can! Please don’t be too hard on yourself! Much love 💕💕
The laundry part😂 I’m laughing and crying at the same time🥲.
You are such a great speaker! I went from this video and scrolled down to the first and watched them all😅😅😅. Ramadhan Mubarak habibi☺
You are so real. First time I have come across a real youtuber x
Ok .... thank you for saying this ! I was so excited for Ramadan ! Like omg I’m going to be so great ! But girl that emotional roller coaster is not a game ! It has nothing to do with water or food it’s just everything else and I’m thankful for it it’s hard but I’ve learned a lot and I’m very self-aware!
So thank you for being honest and transparent and ummmm your skin looks amazing !
Omg Tasneem 😂 this video was ON POINT! I feel the exact same way..my expectations def haven’t met reality 😭 also about the donation page, it seems like everyone and their grandma is creating a campaign (which mA is great!) but it’s getting so overwhelming, esp being unemployed 😞 I’m trying my best to donate to everything, even if it’s a dollar. I’ll check to see if I’ve already donated to your campaign, if not I will contribute iA! Praying we get through the rest of Ramadan in the best of spirits and increased Iman, Ameen
Ramadan in uni is eating rice, indomie, and pasta for thirty days unless you lucky and a friend organized iftar 😂😂
I haven't seen one of your videos since 2016... I'm glad youtube recomended this
Yes harira is awesome we eat it a lot in Ramadan. It doesn't take too long to make on the stove (we make a vegetarian version)
I try to make enough food for a few days to a week so I'm not spending as much time in the kitchen.
With the right intention all the little things you do are an act of worship. Cooking, doing laundry/dishes, etc. Take it easy on yourself sister :) May Allah make ease and bless you. Ramadan Mubarak.
I have never pressed on a video by accident and liked it UNTIL NOW MashAllah she is hilarious
Mashaa Allah sis, be blessed in all corners , amen
The struggle is real girl. I feel ya
New subscriber from Barcelona, Spain! Girl, I'm binge watching all your videos... Thanks for the awesome content
on spiritual i feel the dip too - but reminding myself any small good deed in ramadan is multiplied - don’t give up! and the last 10 days are coming
haha short and sweet video - loved the Urdu making a sustained appearance! Insha'allah, with each Ramadan, it'll get better and better in this new environment - like in most things, quality over quantity. Also, loved the hijab color (strange coming from a guy, right? lol). All the best for the second half of the month! Always goes by so fast!
TBH I completely understand you, I recently just moved into my dorm for the summer semester, and it has been hard for me, missing my family and also cooking my own food, but I hope that you will get through this
I was already supporting you in the first three seconds when I heard you sing "how is it goinggg?"
Love harira!! We make it in Algeria and it’s my favourite every Ramadan. Sometimes, I add cubes of cheddar cheese in my bowl cause it get gooey and delicious 😍
Feeling the same this Ramadan about not meeting my expectations😭
Girl we sound alike! And I’m all in for it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy Ramadan, congrats on your new journey!!!!
It’s that weird transition from home to what’s now YOUR home. It’s great once you start to carry down tradition or make your own your family. It definitely is a “ 😳😅 ohhh yea I’m supposed to do all the cooking now , not mom! “ kind of moment making you feel slightly home sick! 😭😭
Lol I missed my mom so much this Ramadan!
Love your videos Tasneem!
Also my first Ramadan as a married woman ! It definitely is an adjustment and am just learning to be kind towards myself :)
I love seeing your face pop up when I open RUclips ❤️
OmG ما شاء الله you are glowing sis❤️
Yep. We have to make our own warm fuzzy memories..starring into the distance chewing toast at 5am..trying not to let your spouse hear you chew so you choke on dry toast...😁 Lets try to make the best of the rest of Ramadan Insha Allah.
thank you so much for this video, i could relate to very single thing you said (expect being married lol) and i feel so much better about myself i had so much guilt thinking i messed up everything i was supposed to do this month :'( !
MashAllah sister nice video ❤
If it makes you feel better, I ate my iftar today in my car....in all honesty I didn't feel bad, but yeah...Ramadan in a new environment, is not fun! Love your content Tazzy
Love your personality!
I'm an Orthodox Christian and you basically just described my 2021 lent @ 2:55
Eid Mubarak & thank you for this video. As a newlywed observing Ramadan with my husband for the first time, I put a lot of expectations on myself...ended up pregnant 1 month before and it all sort of went out the window and I felt so sad about it. I was wanting to invite friends/family for iftaar's but didn't happen cause I was exhausted 85% of the time :( And then I got really sick and still wanted to make sure my husband had his chorba (he's Algerian) all month he was praising it and how it tasted like it does back home, and every night he would come home so excited to eat it...til the last batch where I literally made it way too spicy and he ended up getting a bad stomach ache LOL
You are simply amazing lol and so relatable man, having a hard time too this year and the realization that it has always been me lol sad though
this is so true, and what lovely video...
THIS WAS HILARIOUS!
Omg Tazzy you are always hilarious
Really enjoyed this video!!! 😁😁😁
Im here for your personality
This is my second ramadan being married and I tried to just take it slow, find easier ways to manage cooking alongside work, housework and Ibadah (trust me, It's a challenge balancing all things). My first year was difficult as I was away from home and this other human being was now living with me and I had all of these unrealistic expectations of myself and from older family members that I felt overwhelmed. Reality is, you create your own little routine and vibe in your home, forget about what so and so is doing. You've got this! (P.s. there's lots of cooking shortcuts to help us millenials haha)
I agree tazzy. I feel the same way with both Ramadans after marrying.
This year, i got a baby to look after and i got no clue how mom’s have been doing it all with 3+ children
@tazzyphe this is my first ramadan as a married woman as well-so can relate honestly. This Ramadan has def been a very different vibe lol.
Loved the صبر at the background
Can’t wait for another story time video
As usual.. loved your video
The blue looks amazing on you MashaAllah. 😊
💯 sis may Allah make it easier for you 💗
Slowly but surely you will be able to create that feeling of Ramadan in your home انشاء اللہ ..
I watch ur vids to the fullest I hope u get 100k
TAZZY GOT MARRRRRRIED WHAT MashaAllah!!!
omg you are naturally hilarious! I just died
With a small loan of 1 million I choked 😂 Tazzy you kill me
You always make me laugh 😂. I feel ya girl
OMG i can't wait to go back to Morocco and learn my MIL harira recipe 😭
This is beautiful
Sending you love and virtual hugs ♥️🤗♥️🤗
Harira soup is the best yum but it's not easy for first-timers even for us, Arab women lol Harira means to let the veggies cook until they become muharharin/very soft lol then we add, young green wheat/freekeh at the end to thicken it a bit, and Ras el Hanout (head of the shop spices/a blend of top spices that give harira its unique flavour) ... It's very good with some dates or few drops of lemon once served in small bowls :))
Good job trying to make it, as I said, it ain't an easy one
Ramadan Mubarak 🌙 cutie you look great in blue Mashallah 🤩
Lol. Thank you for this. No decorations here. Just doing the bare minimum of cooking ( and it’s not always delicious )- caring for kids and surviving the month.
You are right, I’ve been married for 20 years, I still feel the same way 🙀 and I have the laundry since the start of Ramadan, for some reason I don’t have time that people have 😿
Thanks for a relatable Ramadan video ! Lol
I’ve followed you off an on for years. Congrats on your marriage. I’ve been agnostic-atheist and now an Orthodox Christian for some time. It’s nice to watch videos on faith from lay people who do not pretend to be religious experts or the most devout. Even when the video creator is of a different faith.
“Evergreen trees in the home” laughed way too hard
The devils are chained up (not locked away) the spirituality part is just so relatable, ramadan is still not over and we still have time good luck guys 💙
This thumbnail is dope!
FIRST RAMADAN AS A MARRIED WOMAN AND I RELATE SO BADDDDDD UFFFF.
God bless u
Ever ramdan I think I’ll cook good food and get closer to god
Instead I’m shitty grumpy and waiting for the day to get over. It’s crazy busy and nothing goes the way I want
In the end I’m a bit great full it over
Sad but that’s what it is
Hopefully next ramzan I’ll get the hang of it
MashaAllah you are a treasure. Thank you for making me laugh ♥️♥️♥️
Lol vibrations omg u crack me up
Loved this 😂
My mom made so many hriras and I still don't know how she can make it taste so nice
Omddd we're not Moroccan but we have Harira almost every night!!! 🥰
the scary thing when you move out is creating that home feeling... newly married couple houses used to make me feel lonely when I was younger whenever I visit them that's one of the downsides I guess but we are humans we adapt! alxamdulilah :)
Giiiirlll just imagine when you have kids inshallah lol be ready! if you think you don’t have the energy now hahhaa good luck
Harira is haaaard to do from the first time. But goood job . 👏👏👏👏🇲🇦🇲🇦
You are hilarious!! 🤣🤣😂
Lmao this my life
Colorado is home, it will always be home.
Omg you are married 😱😱😱😱 what did I miss
She made SUCH a beautiful video to introduce her husband. I think it was back in September. I highly recommend watching and researching it.
@@catacorn01 i watched it yesterday it was amazing I wish she show us more of the wedding
I am an Algerian
Harira is one of my favourites
