Sail with the dolphins, swim with a ray, explore with a Belgian and enjoy life to the fullest! Sail on Captain, sail on!⛵🐬🐬🐬😁👍👍
Hollie, that interaction you had with the female dolphin while standing on the bow of Geck - that's what I have come to call "communion". It is an extreme privilege! XO
OMG, love the dolphins scene... she/he was totally engaging with you. So amazing!
Dolphins are so cool!! They so want to interact with us; We in our sailing craft, moving along... They, joining with us,swimming beside us as we go...
...young, healthy, happy and free - cherish every moment, every drop...
What dolphin poetry? 💞
Omg how frigging adorable that dolphin swimming in it's back. They're so amazing. What a treat that must have been.
The Manta Ray was super cool…But the dolphin was magical! Your videos are so calming… Thank you!
Oh, the dolphin was spectacular! Looking forward to seeing the ray footage! :)
It was a huge ray ! ! !
Bonus footage only highlights what a awesome life you are living! ❤
You are one amazing woman and I really enjoy your postings! Stay safe & healthy girl!

What a lovely and courageous human being!🙏🍓
Hello it's good to see you again making a video I need to give me a boat one day so I can be out there enjoying these beautiful places that water did look a little sketchy to get in I would take a good shower after getting out of it though and your friend was hilarious getting in that water so funny I love your attitude you always smiling and happy enjoying life just be safe God bless you I'll be waiting for your next video watching from Roseville California USA Ray Garrett.
Love what you do ! Truly Inspiring !
I think it is so genuine that you do an outro. The smile and enthusiasm in your dialog makes me always watch to the end. Thank you and Thank you Tish!
The way you told your experience with the dolphins just beautiful 👍👍
Beautiful video and a great adventure! You’re an inspiration
I carry two car tyres, about 600 x16 inch, which I have wrapped in rope gained from beachcombing. You would need smaller tyres--they are great for slowing down a bot--toss them astern on a LONG rope. These wrapped tyres function as drogues when towed, and serve as fenders when at the dock. On the foredeck deck they serve as dinghy supports, one each side under the stern, and a bag of corks or anything firm but soft supports the bow. The dinghy is bowsed down using ropes and whatever webbing I can scrounge to cover the keel edges to prevent chafe.
Love that little boat ⛵⛵⛵
Get a couple drift socks. Throw overboard off stern tied to cleat.
Good to see you again! Much love and wish you both the best!
I was up at those falls in 2018 i actually had a huge stauner it brings back such great memories !!!
Dolphins are amazing! They are kindred spirits. 🐬🐬
I worked the "maneuvering plot" many years back on a Coast Guard Cutter. Avoiding collision can be done with one or two different things. 1) Zig-zag. If your boat is a powered vehicle the speed can be maintained. A sailboat works under a different principle so option two comes into play. I've never used option two because I've never been in a sail boat but I would recommend a "sea anchor" which is nothing more than a small parachute type of anchor that, when secured to a cleete and tossed over the stern, can slow you down so that you don't have to change your attitude with the wind. I hope this input helps.
Why do they call it a boom? Because that's the sound it makes when it hits you in the head during an unexpected wind change. 😀 Been there, done that. Fair winds and following seas. Stay safe Holly. Love you much! 💖💖💖
Love your videos. You truly are a giant.
My fave channel by far, love ur vids. Love the part where the prawnies are watching you coming into the waterfall pool, too funny.
Dolphins are such magical creatures.
Amazing woman.keep the vids coming.
Oh thanks it’s good to connect again I’ve been off-line myself for a couple weeks hiking in Colorado so it’s good to reconnect take care enjoy it was great
I have to take my hat off to you. You just keep going for "it".
Now when the wind is flukey I'm going to think of Schrödinger's cat. I guess the wind is both alive and dead until it reaches the sail. Great video as always.
hugs from INDONESIA
Great episode...Dophinately over the top eye contact with this exceptional visitor
Small continuity error. The rails and panels installed in E68 were gone in E69. 🤔
Ah, there's Pacific Time for ya!
love the dolphine footage thanks for sharing
That was a good short passage! Great dolphin footage! You got your reward with that freshwater swim! Great photography!
Points for the quantum physics reference!
Yes I remember that wind shadow it took so long to get out of.
Wonderful, as always. So grateful for what you share! A perfect moment with the lady dolphin, at 7:12 and then, Spaghetti!!!
😂🔥😂🔥😂🔥 -- Then, a dip in the Zen Waterfall that's downstream from someone's laundry site! LOL!
Hey girlfriend!!! You keep sailing!! We look really forward to your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your crazy sailing adventures. Peace! Ps: you are so beautiful inside and out...much love. Safe ventures!
wow, when I see dolphins checking you out like that, I imagine their world, and reverse everything, the air is upside down and the water is on top, and they see your boat, keel and all, cruising along, so they swim to check it out....play in the bow way, and wonder how much they can hear, trying to check out the creature on the boat....wild!
Just a simple "Thanks".
Maybe you sailed over a whale when your depth meter registered the shallow spot.
Wow! Wonderful. !!
Great to see you again!
G'day Crew,,,
What a fab vid, loved the sunset for the cabin ,
but the shot of the early morning arrival was to see the island like God intended,, just as he created it ,,,, magnificent, thankyou ....
you MEGA COOL TRENDY GUTSY SEXY BRAVE little wind hippie ...
I do love the ocean at night , how the mind seems to focus on the sound of waves splashing against the hull ..
After all,,,its a row boat with a sail rigg right,,, ha ha ha .
Trish remains "unexposed," to date.
Take your time Wind Hippie, take all the time you possibly can ,, as life is oh so short.
Stay safe , keep bringin the cool night sailing footage where possible ,,
Love it ......

On the flat ocean watching the darkness overtake the light. 🌞 🌚.
Wonderful adventure 🤙
I would have gone swimming there too, and yes Jarne is right, it’s a waterfall not a “waterfall” 🤣
Hey Tony Zehe, how about designing brakes for a boat? You could make a couple of bucks. Maybe something about the same as air brakes on planes. Panels that deploy from the hull. Or a reverse thrust? They might have them, but something to look into. Just thinking about a diff lifestyle. Anyways, stay safe my friend. :)
Great video's, Love to see you two having such a good time. Enjoy it while you are young. Also take some good advice ( Don't get old, It hurts ! ).
i’ve been following you for some time now - always a pleasure. My boat will be done soon then out the golden gate i’ll go , head south then Tahiti , Will you retire from sailing or planning to never stop - curious . I’m hoping to get a good 19 yrs with no end in sight . Thnx for videos 🤙
LOVE your videos
Hi, I look forward to your every adventure. It's nice to have a world tour. i am writing you from Turkey. If you pass through the Mediterranean, definitely stop by the Turkish shores. I will print my mold and you will fall in love. There are no other seas where you can find 4 seasons. You love the food culture, it has no equal in the world. all the best.
i am not a creature of the seas i am a creature of the trees ha ha true peace is always in the forest
You take me places i didnt even know existed! :)) Beautiful!
I love what you do
I missed your videos!
Dude. We like your vid. 💯💯
Have fun😀
Nice underwater moments.
Holly sing us more songs!!!
Are you two by any chance taking a schedule where you take turns sleeping? If you buddy together on a trip, you could stay close together. The one whose awake follows the boat with the sleeping captain, and can call the sleeping captain on the vhf if they need to handle sails, course correct etc.
Thank you
Have you read Thor Heyerdahl's adventure on Fatu Hiva ? Happy Sailing...
Calling that a waterfall, is a discrimination to a waterfall ☺️
But ok, the water was sliding down 🙄
Fair winds,,, /),,,,,
My kid just came in to see why I'm laughing and all I could say was "put that in your bidet nad squirt it!" 10:41
Haha oh my shit I had that thought while I was editing and quickly wrote it down in the captions before I forgot thinking I'd remember to delete it before posting the video. I guess I forgot. I'm glad you had a chuckle though 😄
how do I avoid collision ? now that’s a very good question i would have thought.
Jarna doesn't like icky water any more than I do.
My God I envy you and only wish I could afford to do something like what you are doing. Must be nice to be well off and I mean that in a nice way
If striking sails doesn't slow ya enough
Would a bucket on a line over the side do it?
Nice video
Schrodinger’s weather is both great AND not great.
Is that your temp gauge @8:25 ? If so, why is it pegged out to the max reading?
Because it's broken haha
gettin sexy more each month little miss Hippie. I wonder if the sea air makes the spirit more vibrant , since most sailors have that tan soapy complexion . Even when they are old and wrinkled from the sea, sun & years. And their story telling becomes crisp and detailed. Yet leaving enough out so every imagination has a personalized vision as they form a picture from those words, they hear.
Given your experience, how would you rate the view of the night sky in the middle of the ocean on a clear night? Can you provide description from your time at sea? Many places on land, the night sky is washed out from light pollution.
nice
wow how do you do it on your own i have a 30 ft hartley and haveing problems getting crew i may need to start single sailing
What would you or any adventurous sailor do if you did get hurt? Like getting bit by something exotic and you got really sick.
i suppose that’s the risk one takes for the joy of it.
I know when I was out sailing at her age, it didn’t even cross my mind. got scorched with red coral once and got some treatment on an island.
good question though....would be interested in the ladies take on it too though.
I know most sailors have a pretty good supply of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and pain meds... And in a case like this, both of them being single handed sailors, they've buddied up and travel together, covering each other's back... if one needs medical attention beyond what they carry onboard, my guess is the other would take them to the nearest medical facility... they also have their radio and could call for assistance from a local coast guard, or the country's equivalent...
@@brucerhodes8197 // 👍👍 EXCELLENT COMMENT ❣️❣️😀
That water looked seriously dodgy. No way would I get in there - eeeww!
Wow love the stingray Don’t be a Steve Irwin love your adventures
Manta Ray
I wish you would use text on the screen to name the places you visit and see. Only hearing the names does not allow me to easily find your locations on a map.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll try to remember for next time :)
Nice 👍
Do you have to use gallons of sun cream out there when sailing etc ?
or are you sort of immune by now ?
So many gallons. I use zinc, so I constantly have dat white glow haha
Wind Hippie Sailing
Oh. Never realised that taking zinc pills works good for protection against the sun
@@Onlinesully it's zinc suncream. The zinc replaces the nasty chemicals that other sunscreens use
Wind Hippie Sailing
oh right, got you now.
I’m guessing you go through serious amounts of it ?
by the way, what’s the long term plan for sailing or land and all of that, do you reckon ?
Hi it' me again
I wonder what the dolphins think about the boats they meet.
I like to help you with the French mark on a list wath you like to express and will translate
What up
i cut and pasted your paypal account in but I could not find it.
Would a school of fish give you a false reading on the depth finder?
Possibly, yes
@@WindHippieSailing yes maybe fish, but much safer to assume a rocky outcropping.
Oh and I forgot to add.. omg omg omg! The Siren of the Seven Seas replied to me! You are a hero of mine. One of several brave individuals who are inspiring me. A stone thrown in the water creates ripples that move and affect things far beyond the throwers ability to comprehend. Continued safe voyages. -Bepi
I would like to figure out a way to talk to them. 6:40
I want to be a wind hippie….
"How do I slow down? " No drogue onboard?
❤️
overnighting so you can sleep
jacked on coffee...?
Haha yeah.. but coffee is so delicious.. ☕
@@WindHippieSailing indeed
If tesla can do it you can do it!
No sounding line???
Hey Bob, I haven't seen all of the sailing videos, but of those that I have seen, I have never heard or seen anyone using a lead line. I used to keep and use one on my Challenger ketch on Lake Ontario, NY, and Canada. She had a full keel with cut-away forefoot and a big barn door rudder mounted on the keel with a 4'-6" draft.
👌👍😎
