Poor cute baby goat. Can’t stand the anxiety, franticness, and over neuroticism of dogs. Thrusting its rigid, out of control body all over the place. It is a nice looking dog though.
R Kely PN--maybe a cat...except that a cat won't be living out in the field with the goats to protect them from predators, like the dog will. Dog has to learn about the goats while it's young, and goat has to learn while it's young about dogs so it doesn't try to butt them later and probably really hurt them, or be afraid of them and run away from them. Dog has to know that's not dinner, and goat has to know it won't eat them, even if it is a little rambunctious. .

@@My-Pal-Hal well i know that, im just saying that heroism is something that exists in many animals. Pyrenees are great dogs, they’re very brave and strong in spirit, but thats not necessarily what people consider “purity”… Like purity is innocence, sweetness, wholesomeness, naivety, gentleness, etc. I don’t think any animal can be classified as “most pure”- i think op is just making a statement about how precious and dainty the kid is. also worthy to consider that the livestock being guarded by dogs, especially the babies, are largely defenceless. That actually makes them seem more ‘pure’ in a certain view. Again, i think most every animal is pure, by their very nature.
That goat still needs a mother. He wanted to climb in bed with dog and cuddle. Feel so bad for the goat. He's looking for escape. They need a better introduction. A loving one.
Relax people, the baby goat and the puppy probably became best friends within the next few hours, I bet you they slept together in the dog bed later that evening. Personally, I would've tried to helped the pup to keep his energy level a little lower but that's maybe easier said than done because Golden Retrievers got more energy than a kinder garden, it was so exited and wanted to play.

The puppy is well into the age of training, yet seems to have received NONE. He doesn't know his own strength. Some people think that, whatever happens, it's OK, just go with it. These are the same kind of people who will let their kids act out in public, rather than teach their kids how to act properly and politely in public. Calm the puppy and coach him during these early interactions. Give the baby goat "some" chance at not being accidently taken out by an excited puppy.
That puppy is remarkably gentle and well behaved my pups would have wrestled the goat playfully but much more rambunctiously whether the goat was ready or not. This pup is playful but sweet.
That pup is a special breed of dog bred for centuries to guard ovines, much as the Scottish sheep dogs herd them . In this closely monitored experience I think no one was in any danger.
Kudos for socialization bless you tremendously for trying to get your puppy in Richmond try not to have training sessions more than 15 minutes the baby goat will be too stressed out missing its mother if your home you could do it four times a day but probably should be present to make sure that the puppy isn't too rough it's a beautiful sweet puppy and a beautiful sweet little goat enjoy You're very lovely human to do this for your animals but remember babies are babies and they need their mommy
The dog is to young to understand that he has to be carefull with the goat. The goat is not introvert, but braces himself. It's instable and less heavy than the dog.
harry nac I see your perspective. Intuitively animals know things, and I believe that mental traits cary over to animals too. So I see my perspective. Also see introvert , extrovert perspective mentioned in the comment here. It helps to stay open minded.
pore baby Goat, only 4 day's old and the 4 month old giant dog almost smashed the little one. Also He needs his Mom. why it is not with his mom to drink and be protected.
For those who think this is wrong, just so you know pyrenees dogs are livestock gaudians. you have to introduce them at an early age to Livestock in order to see if they have the instinct to be able to guard them. so they have to create a bond with the animals right away. I don't know if this is what they're doing but most likely because of the breed I would assume so. I have a Pyrenees dog and he was raised in a goat pen and initially could have become a livestock Guardian if I had any livestock for him to guard. this is a totally normal process that happens all the time. especially with this kind of dog breed
Brenna Yaeger Exactly. Not that I would know such things lol. And I cut and pasted a comment in a couple threads saying,.. I'm sure you would go Ape Shit if you saw how a Great Pyrenees like myself. Are introduced as pups. To a Flock of Full-sized Sheep and Goats. That we will live with, and Protect with our lives. And do it, Our Whole life. As it has been done for Thousands of Years. Why do you think your not Hunter/Gatherers any more ???
I love Labs so much, pure canine sunshine. And this white lab puppy is gorgeous and he's trying to be gentle with the baby, as best he can because he's over excited and clumsy. Although the poor baby goat, I could tell was a bit frightened towards the end... I would have had intervene on the goats part, don't like to see animals being scared.
Ok, folks need to calm down a little... the goat is a baby... it is still learning things about the world and chances are, a lot of things are looking strange to it at the moment.. but they learn! the dog means no harm and the goat will learn that soon... just because it seems a little wary at the moment doesn't mean that it's absolutely the worst thing happening to it! when my dad shaves his beard off when I was a baby, I cried for three days! did that mean my dad stopped playing with me..? no! I got used to him without a beard and life went on! same will probably happen with these two... they will probably be best buddies! (also, did you guys check if the kid has been separated from it's mother altogether? just because it is not with it's mom for the span of less than four minutes doesn't mean it is never seeing its mom! its a cute video of the beginning of a cute friendship... just leave it be!
Ikr some people think that the best way to raise an animal is under some glass dome, sheltered from anything and anyone, they take even a minimalistic rough experience as a tremendous potential trauma for the animal, people are way too exaggerated.
How cute! It's obviously a well trained puppy. Of course it's going to be excited and play needs to be supervised, but the dog is pretty gentle for being such a young pup. We have a giant 145Lb dog who played like this when our other dog was only 7lb. Every now and then we needed to slow them down/ stop but overall they seem to understand when to back off. It's amazing how animals across different species can get along or even become close friends when they are introduced to each other as "babies" (puppies etc). Thanks for sharing!

IMO it doesn't matter how "sweet" the "puppy" is, it's 2 or 3 times the size of the kid and could accidentally cause serious injury to the little goat
I agree, he is behaving really well, it’s just that he can’t contain his glee & excitement 💕♥️
That pup is a special breed of dog bred for centuries to guard ovines, much as the Scottish sheep dogs herd them .
In this closely monitored experience I think no one was in any danger.
The puppy was throwing himself around the house
I think this video is about the dog, on how it destroys anything in it's way.
Nice wood floors
Thanks!
+Sean cadden did you install them yourself
Those kinds of floors install themselves.
For now.
Were...
Poor terrified goat. "Where is my mommy?"
😊So cute watching them both. I bet they’re best buddies today!
In a month or two the goat might be ready for the puppy but right now he's scared.
Goat was like "meeeeh"
+Edward Stew Aww. Satan's little minion is so cute.
the dog is one big clumsy stampede of love
Extroverts vs Introverts
LOL so true.. I am an introvert not shy just people wear me out sometimes.
FranSlam that's a great observation. For a split second I was thinking I was on a different channel. lol
well goat is only 4 days old, he actually walks around pretty good
The dog is to young to understand that he has to be carefull with the goat.
The goat is only 4 days old and very scared. She is too young for the puppy play. This made me cringe. The baby goat is petrified!
How sweet and wholesome and much needed. Thank you for sharing.
the kid is maybe a little scared
+Ethan Donaldson By the end the kid really wasnt having fun and it stopped being cute or funny
The game seems to be "I'll leave the bed and you try to get in it before I get back."
He's so delightfully goofy!
Goat: You need to calm down, dude.. like, for real...
Come on. I want to play. What's wrong with you. Let's go.
Puppy really trying hard to play with his new friend 💙🐕🐐💙 Two adorable little angels 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Poor goat is like "What the fuck."
pore baby Goat, only 4 day's old and the 4 month old giant dog almost smashed the little one. Also He needs his Mom. why it is not with his mom to drink and be protected.
Goat "This n**ga got a soft bed and clean floors. All I got is a hay and mud to sleep on. Where my agent!"
That pup wants to play so bad lmao!!!
The dog thinks the goat is a funny looking dog. But they love each other anyway 🤗
Brenna Yaeger
Exactly.
Brenna Yaeger ... the Great Pyrenees dog will guard whatever creature is available. If not 4-legged, then 2 - legged will suffice.
This doesn’t look safe for a 4 day old goat ... cute, but I personally would keep them separate until he is not so fragile !
Floor is slippery.
Half the time thinking: "Who are you and do you want to play?????"
Other half: "no grip no grip no grip no grip no grip no grip no grip no grip"
Aaawww so cute both of them but...
*the* goat is too *young*
you should have calmed the dog down, the goat looks scared near the end.
3:04 goat: "you done yet?"
Lol
Ikr some people think that the best way to raise an animal is under some glass dome, sheltered from anything and anyone, they take even a minimalistic rough experience as a tremendous potential trauma for the animal, people are way too exaggerated.
baby goat doesn't want to play. baby goat wants mom and milk
Decentralized Insanity true that..
If it wanted anything it would be bleating
SO TRUE. GOAT IS OVERWHELMED. NOT GOOD.
what does "cotton" have to do with anything? Your comment shows how ignorant and childish you are. You're an embarrassment.
The baby goat is a cute little bugger. That puppy is wound up tighter than a banjo string. Just dying to play. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing!
awwww. Puppy wants to play sooooooo badly. Needs a rug to avoid sliding around. lol
