In today's video, we meet back up with my good friend Maaya Orido for another visit to the Max Orido shop. This time, we were fortunate enough to meet Max Orido and get to talk with him for a bit! What an absolute legend! Afterwards, we made our way down to Hakone with some friends to run one of Japan's most famous touge. We went to a few different locations to try and find some of the local Touge runners. We got home around 3am and prepared for a long day at the touge.

I wish it was like that here. But here in Maryland, it's not even about cars anymore. It's about a person's race, sex, sexual orientation, or a language we do or don't speak sucks I can't even go to car meets anymore that was my outlet for depression. They try and start stuff with you even for trying to take a picture. Well, not just Maryland but DC, Maryland & Virginia (DMV).

Ive really enjoyed these daily Japan vlogs so much. I was really into the JDM scene in the early to mid 2000s and this all takes me back.
I met Orido in Cali when D1 / JGTC came to Fontana in 2004. Then again at a drift event in Joliet, Illinois when he had the fringe on his driving suit.

Dustin, the way Orido sat in the chair with his legs crossed to greet you, that is usually how Japanese fathers greet their daughters boyfriends. it was like he was meeting his daughter's boyfriend for the first time! He may have thought that you are a boyfriend to maaya. If he knew you were just a friend to her, he would have stood up and bowed when he met you. That is kinda funny and awkward!!! LOL

@@jdmxLove yeah totally. Also the way Dustin talks to maaya is so gentle that his tone changes. I think there’s chemistry going on. When I was married I liked other women too, so the fact that Dustin is married is not a reason that he doesn’t like other women!!!

Just because he acts nice towards Maaya or changes his tone doesn't mean he likes her. He changes his tone the same way when he speaks to any of the Japanese people he talks to. He isn't going to treat them like one of the boys because he doesn't know them that well and probably doesn't want to be seen like some kind of intimidating gaijin. Yeah Orido didn't get up and maybe had the wrong impression of Dustin but that doesn't mean there's anymore to it than that. Ya'll need to chill out, acting like a few minutes of interaction gives you enough info to psychoanalyze the situation and make assumptions because you "liked" (probably cheated with) other women when you were married.

Keep the titanium knob for collector value, but swap that puppy out for a Nismo duracon knob for practicality. Especially since its near future destination is California 😢. Again, PLEASE get another GTR for your Japan car. I’m sure you already have your next Japan car purchased, but if it’s not a GTR, consider swapping it for one! Dut belongs with Godzilla in Japan!

@@brandonfisher5078 that's not what happened at all lol. The cops came because the airbnb host told him he could park on the side of the house but apparently he couldn't and it was parked illegally. He left because he had no parking space

Everything about the videos work man- as enthusiast we see both the cultural aspects of Japan and the legendary car scene as well.
