Defts name on lck adc goats debate obviously cant come prior to PraY's name that makes no sense. U want to talk about "great international performances"? Pray has been to 5 Worlds on 3 different teams and left groups all 5 times. He was THE star for that Najin Sword that almost took down 2013 Skt on one of the best Worlds bo5s. He retires, comes back on 2015 for Tigers, and is one of the best performing adcs on 2015 AND 16, protagonizes whats for many fans the best bo5 on Worlds and one of the most beautiful n game changing plays. Thats 4 great seasons of great international play. him so hard it hurted MY feelings. Longevity and consistency is what shapes a career. Score? Ambition? Bengi? What about Soaz? Rekkles? Perkz?
Like, if u wanna talk about a guy who in a stretch of 2 seasons had a great peak and international performances? Go watch Smebs career for s5 and s6. 2 times LCK MVP during Fakers prime. Come 2015 Finals he was arguably the best performing player alongside Marin(if u rewatch, the casters didnt had a clear favorite plauer for the matchup. Both were having an insane tournament). Skt was saved on s6 by the Worlds meta that enabled Duke to just play Poppy and afk farm. His high and hype was higher then Caps's. U can even make a comparison for their careers bcuz Caps had a hype agnst Rookie and got stomped and Smeb had a hype agnst Marin on s5 and got kinda stomped. "Oh but caps just had a great 3rd season" Smeb also had a great 2018 season. He was the only top laner able to hold TheShy. What about Ruler? He's also had an insane 2 season stretch of great international play, worlds finalist for s6 and s7(winning s7 plus Finals MVP, made the play that won the last game), plus another 2 seasons of consistent peak play. Thats 4 seasons playing at S tier lvl. Not to mention that other dude who also started on s8 but has had a better career... You know. A dude called JackeyLove. That guy whos terrible at laning but is the best teamfighting adc there is. Outdamaged Rekkles on more then 200 DPM for the series. Ever heard of him?
I think the observation of Nemesis being passive, or at the very least conservative, is really accurate. In game 4 where Hyli's Sett grabs JKL's Senna and YYJ's Kench, Nemesis could've ulted on Galio to at least secure a kill on Senna, but chose not to.
Btw that was an Int on hyli's part cause they were over reaching for no reason as their mid and jg were already rotating botside when they were going for that play. Also I do agree that nemises has been playing way more scared and passive as usual. Even in the voice coms, he seems extremely nervous and looks like he has a gun to his head or something. Maybe the hate from him playing bad in the summer split really got to him.
Oh I forgot to mention why hyli was over reaching as self made was doing rift herald topside so they were going to be outnumbered anyways on that play.
While Rekkless is probably the biggest diva in League and his TPM is off the charts, this worlds and especially that FNC vs TES series made me respect him so much. I really hope the loss didn't shook him to make him play passive again.
I mean... Rookie is widely considered the 2nd best mid laner ever. And while he lacks the winning records, u can even make a (debatable) case that he has been more consistently in a high than Faker and his peak was higher. Hes definitely not "over looked" by any1 who dont just watch NA/just watch LEC and Worlds playoffs
@@SuperLio333 hmm I suppose it conveys some sort of hype and passion that also gets me excited. I also think that the moments when the loud voices come in are moments in which I find funny
Crack Down is by far the best league show imo. I liked Thorin + Loco, but this duo has much more dynamic. Kinda felt like loco was butthurt after every roast :D.
I think 3-0 and 3-2 reverse sweep is the same thing. 3-0 predicts one team wins 3 games consecutively, a 3-2 is still one team winning 3 games consecutively, just dropping two Bo1s first.
@@tomatofarmerlarry3331 not here to argue, just pointing out predicting a 3-0 implies a team will win 3 consecutive games, that is identical to how a reverse sweep occurs. It's just a matter of sooner or later. Maybe you can elaborate on why it's really not?
@@jackx410 I think the basis of a 3-0 is that it'll be a stomp and that one team doesn't look like a competitor. 3-2 is like one team overcomes the other team.
@@sillysalmon784 yeah I acknowledge the perception, another way to look at it is the winning team stomped the last 3 games by going 3-0 after losing the first two games. Also, I think you can have very competitive 3-0s like every game could have been on a knifes edge and one team was just a little bit better consistently.
@@jackx410 Obviously you can have 3-0's be super competitive. The whole point of saying that a team will "3-0" the other is that it'll be super one sided. Whilst a 3-2 scoreline is a super close game even if its a reverse sweep.
I view Loco the same way I view mashed potatoes or a similar sidedish next to a steak, great to round out the experience of the main star, that being Thorin, Monte, Dom or whoever
"All I'm saying is this.. and this... and this.... and this..... and this" Thorin stop kiddin yourself, you say a lot of stuff, that's kinda what you do.
Anyone giving C9 shit for dropping Licorice needs to realize they were the only top team interested in picking up a rookie and using him in the first place. He replaced Impact, who was considered top in LCS, and everyone gave C9 shit them for even playing Licorice. So lets trust C9 as always.
1:32:00 - if there was a more expansive scene of providing LPL content in the west, Rookie would probably be regarding as clear top 5 without question. It's always awkward when we can only see players play the highest competition a few times a year
1:30:18 Thorin putting Deft top 5 all-time players. Says Deft somehow chokes at Worlds every time, but his longevity as a top 2 player in his region makes him a viable top-5 GOAT... sounds kinda familiar... *cough Doublelift cough*
Thorin nails what my main issue with LS is: he judges players based on public knowledge but when it comes to his friends he accounts for inside knowledge he has in an effort to not direct the narrative in a way that is unfair to them
PEKRZ IS SO CLUTCH, the G2 voice comms is half of the time Perkz saying "I got caught" and yet Thorin talks about his great positioning xD And IWD says how great Perkz did despite being against Kalista, meanwhile, who came down bot to camp that Kalista lol?
Perkz is clutch. I think as ADC he hasnt figured out the balance and last year the defensive and mobility tools of Kai'sa and Xayah covered for small positioning errors. Cait ash senna have lower mobility and fewer defensive tools so he can't just r flash out to buy time. I think the role swap was a major problem as he needed time to get habits built.
My top 5 GOAT. 1. Faker (No debate) 2. Rookie 3. Uzi ( Yes he did not win a single world championship but he is the best ADC for how many years already, and the reason why he did not win world's is because he's always against SKT) 4. Caps (The greatest EU player of all time, yes he did not win world's but he's always a finalist for straight 3 years and also he win MSI and have a lot of domestic championship) 5. Bengi (Yes bengi struggled a lot of times during his years that's why they also sub him with blank but he always perform at best during crucial games especially in 2016 semifinals and finals. That's why faker and bengi is the best duo of all time. If not for military service in kroea him and faker would probably win 4th world championship in 2017)
I agree with Thorin that Deft is seriously disrespected. I’d put him right there with Uzi as the best ADC ever. With Caps being top 5? I’m not ready to say that but I’m glad people are starting to put Perkz, Caps, and even Jankos up there all time. Immediately I’d have Faker, Uzi, Mata, Smeb, Deft, Score, Rookie, and I’d argue Pray, Gorilla for right now in my top 9. The 10th spot is a bit up for grabs. If G2 wins this worlds I think a reflection has to be made on where Perkz and Caps specifically rank all time.
I had a love/dislike relationship with Loco. I never hated him though. I just felt like he had a very hard time of processing his thoughts and emotions then putting them into words in an understandable format. The sad thing is that like his last 3-4 appearances on shows I thought he had grown up a LOT in how he presented his ideals and arguments in a way that actually made sense (I think in a C9 show he actually looked like the smart one and Monte looked like a loon). I think Loco just wasn't good at rapid fire answers. Like maybe he needed to know what topics were going to be discussed in advance so he could properly formulate the structure of his points. Would be nice to see him as a guest though on future segments especially regarding NA (I mean like Thorin said Loco coached a successful LCS team and at once was a player, you can't take any of that away from him) especially since LS is kinda standoffish when it comes to NA and usually just defaults to flame. Couldn't watch his personal channel, oof, way too fucking cringe lol. Like watching a brainstorm in action while being narrated by pewdiepie lmao.
Im pretty sure if you sign a contract, the org can't break it for no reason and need to pass it to someone else. So if they get DL out of TSM they will need an org willing to take that contract. (not being able to do this is a "no trade" clause, and needs to be added to the contract if agreed on)
Most contracts in league aren’t guaranteed a lot of contracts in sports aren’t unless they’re top tier players I believe DL probably got a guarantee but TSM is notorious for doing cheaper safer contracts
@@rockdalianninja1056 I think i'm talking about something different. If you are under contract for next 3 years for X amount of money and the team looks to trade you, now you need to find an org that will take the contract and pay the player the same X amount of money for 3 years. You need to pass the contract to another team, and if you aren't able you need to keep him. I wasn't talking about guaranteed money (i think that's what you were talking about) Seeing how orgs in League are, i would expect them to have weird stuff to void and invalidate the contracts or something like that.
@@aradan3913 yeah if they fire DL they don’t have to pay him unless he has a guaranteed contract they don’t have to pass the contract on but it’s in TSM’s best interest to “sell” it but if no one buys they’ll use him or cut him(without pay) contracts usually favor the team especially in tsm’s case

Currently he is a top 5 player in the WORLD, but not in the top 5 goat talk. Faker, Bang, Mata, Uzi, Jakeylove, The Shy, Deft, Ruler, Bengi, Smeb, Rookie, Ning too. I think it should be obvious jankos is just not the best carry jungler and more specifically not the best nidalee player. Same goes for his lee sin, its not just a meme, hes just not so good at the champ
@@ensiemen9836 let me rephrase myself for you. how do we know that if we have yet to see how far Jankos can go with this style? Since he has only started practicing it 3 weeks ago.

There is a clear top 2 for Goat. Thats Faker and Rookie. After thats either Uzi and Mata. I didnt get the arguments why Mata shouldn't be as high as ppl put him. He has the best international performance for a support, plus other 3 seasons of great domestic and international performance. Dude won a LPL with fuckin wuxx and actually made him look good. To me its Mata 3rd. And for 5 u just have to put Pray. 5 worlds appearances, left group all 5 times. Waa the star on the Najin team who almost defeated 2013 skt. Had another 2 great international performances on 2015 and 2016. 2017 wasnt his best but he waa still a great weak side. There r another few longevity names like Soaz for example. If we r valuing longevity and domestic dominance even though not the best worlds performance u have to think about Clearlove and Score too prior to him. Now u can start to look at newer guys in international scene. Theres JackeyLove who to me has to come prior to Caps. Theres also Perkz. What about Ruler? 2 insane world appearances, another 2 where he individually performs great and is always trying to carry. Even if u disconsider these 2... Thats 4 years of consistent S tier play.

- a definite top3 player for his role worldwide on 4 seasons, arguably 5
With that out of the way...

I think 3-0 and 3-2 reverse sweep is the same thing. 3-0 predicts one team wins 3 games consecutively, a 3-2 is still one team winning 3 games consecutively, just dropping two Bo1s first.
It's really not.

Anyone giving C9 shit for dropping Licorice needs to realize they were the only top team interested in picking up a rookie and using him in the first place. He replaced Impact, who was considered top in LCS, and everyone gave C9 shit them for even playing Licorice. So lets trust C9 as always.
Amazing as always bois

ITS A TEAM GAME
Perkz is clutch. I think as ADC he hasnt figured out the balance and last year the defensive and mobility tools of Kai'sa and Xayah covered for small positioning errors. Cait ash senna have lower mobility and fewer defensive tools so he can't just r flash out to buy time. I think the role swap was a major problem as he needed time to get habits built.

My top 5 GOAT.
1. Faker (No debate)
2. Rookie
3. Uzi ( Yes he did not win a single world championship but he is the best ADC for how many years already, and the reason why he did not win world's is because he's always against SKT)
4. Caps (The greatest EU player of all time, yes he did not win world's but he's always a finalist for straight 3 years and also he win MSI and have a lot of domestic championship)

Nahhhhhhhh

Loco's channel is Hella cringe I would agree too. But once you get over the shitty editing and punchlines, it's good
@@abdullapankhawala3814 Yep! Behind the cringe is some good content. Shame there was so much cringe tho... Couldn't take it after a while.

Great show!
I wasn't talking about guaranteed money (i think that's what you were talking about)
Seeing how orgs in League are, i would expect them to have weird stuff to void and invalidate the contracts or something like that.
Odds are Licorice and Reapered end up on the same team?

You can’t put caps as a GOAT when his only high worlds placement is when he was 3-0 by arguable the 3rd best mid to play the game in Doinb. He is deff top 10, but not top 5. Currently he is a top 5 player in the WORLD, but not in the top 5 goat talk. Faker, Bang, Mata, Uzi, Jakeylove, The Shy, Deft, Ruler, Bengi, Smeb, Rookie, Ning too. Knight will join that convo if he wins his championship this year. Caps will also join if he gets his worlds win. Too many greats to give him top 5.

Wow the way these guys talk about G2 is as of G2 never got to the finals, won MSI. Talking about they should play Volibear and stuff while Jankos has talked about it time and time again that it does not fit the meta. We will see what's going to happen if G2 beats DWG at their own game.
I think it should be obvious jankos is just not the best carry jungler and more specifically not the best nidalee player. Same goes for his lee sin, its not just a meme, hes just not so good at the champ
@@ensiemen9836 how should we know that if he only started practicing it like 3 weeks ago?
@@mutotowamwema cuz others are just better?

Supermassive has some really good players though, it would be great if KaKao or Armut could be saved from Turkey. KaKao is one of the greatest junglers of all time and its sad to see him stuck in a wildcard region
I think you can't argue against Rekkles. There is no hypercarry meta so he won't pop off that much
1:34:51 sounds like a battle rap line haha.
i would love to hear raz talk more
There is a clear top 2 for Goat.
