OH MY GOD!!! THANK YOU!!!! Finally I found somewhere that doesn't just write out the R code and leave it at that. I truly truly appreciate your break down and the way you show what is going on with images instead of only running lines of code.

If I have missing data in some fields it seems like the aggregate function ignores it, how can I include the blank values for all the dates into the mean calculations?
I imported my data from excel and there is a column named ride_length (in char data type) which is the difference of datetime. how to calculate the ,mean of ride_length. $ ride_length : chr "00:02:00" "00:16:00" "00:03:00" "00:09:00" ...
Is it possible to aggregate with a different function for different variables in a data frame? For example, if I want to take the sum of the population variable but the mean of the height variable is this possible via the aggregate function? My goal is to put them all in a new data frame and trying to figure out the simplest way to do so--any assistance would be great. Thanks.

You are Greatttttttttttttt. You have made my evening with this well-explained and straightforward application of aggregate function.
crystal clear explanation, I can immediately check it in R myself. Great work !!!! Thank You so much !
This is exactly what I was looking for a great example and explanation...subscribed for it!!!
in the beginning, I thought the son of the youtuber was talking.
This was so helpful. Very clear explanation as compared to the other online sources. This helped me solve my assignment!

Does Richard ever narrate these videos?

May I know where did you get the data for heights or is that a just a dummy data? Good presentation, Thanks.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!

How would I add these aggregated values back to the data frame? I tried creating a new vector, but I got an error.
Well spoken
