DJ has had ZERO fumbles. The guy with the glasses is clueless.

He fumbled early in his K-State career. I think it was one of his first carries. He hasn’t fumbled for a very very long time though. I think he has focused on securing the ball after looking bad early on.

Guy in glasses very very clearly doesn’t watch the teams he comments on. Some very stupid comments. Dj does not lack speed. And has never had fumble issues in his career.

He fumbled once in his first year.

@@Michael-nx2he I agree, I remember him fumbling in one of his first runs ever at K-State. I remember because my brother held it against him for so long! I kept telling him to let it go and give him a chance. I think he did finally after the great game vs UCF last year. 😆

I don't think Johnson struggles to throw the ball lol.

I agree, I thought he threw fine, he was a freshman. He didn't even scramble like you thought he would have, he made good decisions

Great video guys love the content. With Avery Johnson coming into his second season is going to have more offensive weapons as well as Matt Wells taking over as Quarterbacks coach and co offensive coordinator with Conner Riley. There is also the transfer of Dylan Edwards. I see possibly multiple split back formations and play action off the run. They have an opportunity to be very fun to watch.

Not only do I think bro in the glasses is underestimating DJ but also Avery Johnson. Avery was an Elite 11 finalist & can throw the ball very well. He just wasn’t asked to do so last season. 4 eyes will have to eat this when they both pop off this upcoming season.

DJ Giddens is a 4.5 guy who doesn’t typically get caught from behind so I don’t understand the speed comments. He had several runs and catches over 20 yds. He had 2 bad games last year and those were against TX and Mizzou. Mizzou there were 4 guys who were pretty equal in rushes and attempts while we were still trying to figure out the offense. Texas was one of the best rush defenses in football so they keyed on it and forced KState to pass.
He will show he is a top 10 if not top 5 back in the country since KStates offense will be more open.

no fumbles, most yards after contact in the nation, breaks tackles consistently, what's not to like.

Collin Klein-OC to Texas A&M- runner-up for heisman to Manziel. Question any football expert who doesn't know that. Stacked Texas defense who stomped Alabama, stacked the box against Kstate and it almost cost Texas the game when Kstate had to go to the air. Missed field goal away from kstate winning that game? Missed Xtra point to tie. DJ Giddens is a punisher and UA will find that out the ha4d way early. UA has some dudes too. Avery Johnson is a passer who can run. He throws the ball away when he should. Makes his numbers dip, team first dude.

For people who supposedly know what they are talking about and to have not watched the game you refer to says that you Don’t know what you’re talking about. Avery Johnson has a better ability to pass the ball than you know much better passer and is a mobile quarterback he reminds me of a couple of the best quarterbacks to play in the B12 Michael Bishop and Patrick Mahomes

DJ Giddens had zero fumbles and was only a sophomore last year so you have to consider that.

Giddens will be the veteran in the backfield and will get a lot more attention, which will open things up for the others. His stats may not reflect his value to the team, but he will have very good career stats because he will probably play out his eligibility and he has been extremely dependable. Last year the receiving corps took a long time to gel, and we didn't have Deuce Vaughan. Giddens stepped up. Will Howard struggled a bit early and we lost 3-4 games by a single play, games KSU has consistently won over the years. SEC record FG end of game and Mizzou goes for 11 wins. Muffed plays twice when we had Texas on the ropes and they end up in the Playoffs.
Will had a very difficult path at K-State, being forced into action early, getting bumped by Adrian Martinez, and performing when his number was called again. He is remembered for his perseverance and bringing a conference championship. But he saw the writing on the wall, and it was A.J. Add in Dylan Edwards who almost came last year, and we have a triple threat. Receiver room is better even though Sinnott went pro.
This is a very new offensive lineup so may take a few games to fine tune but the defense is probably ahead early, which is usually the case with the Cats. Avery Johnson is the X factor; the floor for him is so high Will Howard transferred and ended up at Ohio State, not a bad landing spot. This is a new dynamic for K-State. Kleiman keeps building on a solid foundation and the talent is coming in. Everybody knows Avery is a special talent and it's only a metter of time. Avery is great just on raw talent and instinct; once the offense begins to click, look out world.

Avery Johnson struggles to throw the ball? He wasn’t the starting QB last year and they used him as a RB essentially. Saying someone hadn’t done something and someone isn’t good at something are two vastly different things

Johnson struggles passing the ball?? Did you watch the Pop Tart bowl game? The reason that his completion percentage is not high, is that he would throw the ball away if the play was not there. He would not try to thread the needle and get a INT. That was a positive remark from Coach Klieman.
If you decide to make all about how many yards a running back achieves as being the best. I think that DJ's numbers will be down from last year, because of Johnson and Edwards and a new back Joe Jackson. If you base it off of the best teammate to help the TEAM win, he will be in the top 5 in the country.

Turned this off about a minute and half in, because the guy in the glasses is obviously just making stuff up and doesn't follow the team at all!! Avery Johnson has struggled throwing the football? Huh? Wasn't the starter last year, but did just fine when asked to throw. Was part of the Elite 11 camp for top high school QB's before heading to Manhattan. Those guys don't get that invite unless they can spin the rock!!
