    I’m a first year grower of sweet peas. Thanks to your video, I nipped my seedlings today. They’ve been in loo roll tubes, in a small cold frame since day 1, a month old now, and I intend to grow them over an arch way outside my kitchen door. Fingers crossed!
    Enjoyable content, thankyou, from a new sub!

    It is my first year growing sweet peas. Lots of thanks for the information in your video. I was unsure if I should transplant my seedlings just yet as we are in the middle of winter, but they are outgrowing the seed trays I started them in. It's helpful to hear you put them in a secondary pot before transplanting in March. Many thanks again!

    Thank you so much for posting this video.
    I sowed my sweet peas last week and half have already germinated and half of those are very leggy! This has really helped me understand the process. My first attempt ever at sowing seeds!! So excited! Thank you x

    Good Video. Your plants look very similar to mine. I was worried they are a bit leggy. I was waiting until they had two sets of leaves before pinching out. I sowed on Christmas day so they are three weeks tomorrow. It is nice to see your roots. I haven't looked at mine. Mine are outside today getting a bit of wind therapy.
    Next year I must remember to fill the root trainers in the autumn while the compost is still warm.

    I just stumbled across your video. What brought me here was the tray which I wanted to learn more info. Thank you so much. Is sweet peas the only flower seed you use the trays with? I’m now starting from the beginning of your videos. Please keep them up for us beginners

      I feed mine when you see the first set of flowers and with a high potassium feed to keep it flowing and get more flowers I use tomato feed.

    I wish I had watched this before! I have leggy long sweet peas. Is there any way of saving them?

    • @TheFloralProject
      @TheFloralProject  3 года назад

      If they are only a week or so old - it's hard, but throw them out and start again. If you've invested more time and energy into them, repot them up to their first set of seed leaves and move them outside but under cover so they can get enough light. I did the same when I started so no sweat!

    Do mice eat sweet peas once they are established in the garden?

      No, they tend not to when they are sturdy little plants as you plant them out.
