All i am going to say is that bass fishing for a living is a damn grind dude. Not enough quality sleep, fish are there one day gone the next etc etc. Family support is so so important. And you have done the right thing by getting them involved with what you are doing. Sometimes getting home seeing the family is the best part of the tournament.
the part where you started talking about sponsors at the end that cracked me up and brought up a legendary memory. the best and funniest part of fishing with my dad is on the way out. he just randomly start "i wanna thank my sponsors today, astroglide lube for..." man he can come up with some crazy stuff.

Man that’s pretty cool my wife is also a full time teacher, 9th grade. I don’t fish professionally but I have a 2 acre pond behind my work that I have pulled a couple of 6-7 pounders out of. So my wife has to hold down the fort while I feed my addiction after work lol
