- I have fished all week for this opportunity. I have a chance to will $100,000 on one big fish and another $100,000 if I can win the tournament. There is a chance that you could win both. The conditions are going to be completely different today than they have been all week and I am not totally sure what the fish are going to do. I just need to put my head down and go to work.

I fish lots of shallow cypress lakes with wood everywhere and I stumbled upon a little sneaky tactic for catching some bigger fish especially in stained water…a 10” speed worm fished just like a spinner bait/chatter bait retrieve! I couldn’t believe how they smashed it. My best colors are red bug and grape. I guess it’s just something different that nobody ever throws at them…a swimming worm with a 1/4 Oz weight,10” long,paddle tail. Thanks for your hard work and sharing your fishing journey with us fans.

talk about feeling sick, i lost a bass on jordan last summer which had to be over 10 pounds. i almost had it in the dip net twice before it wrapped around a tree and broke off. i felt sick to my stomach for week. i dont know how you do it my friend. great video and cant wait till the next one. I’m sad you lost that fish but keep up the great content. I love your videos. My son was in the Denver Jr Bass Masters for a a few few years and I fell in love with bass fishing then. I grew up fishing trout and salmon in Colorado and shared my love of fishing with my kids so now they love fishing as adults. I so much appreciate the MLF concept of saving fish. It makes more sense. I can’t wait for your next tournament! You’re due.
