Hey Friends!👋🏽 I apologize if this video came off as very bland. This tutorial was RECORDED about 3 Months Ago....few days after George Floyd was killed, and I had A LOT on my mind and heart ( like many of you ). ••• HOWEVER, I do want to say I kept these in for weeks and LOVED THEM! They weren't my absolute favorite to install , but I did NOT want to take them out once they were in! I really enjoyed this style! Anyways, let me know if you have any questions!!!❤
These are my favorite locs. These and the neyso butterfly locs. They are my go too. I love them!! I agree that the only flaw is that the wrapping part isn't long enough for those with long hair. I order a pack of the kinky hair with the locs, just so I can continue to wrap when I run out. They're perfect for those with short hair though!
When I saw these I never thought that was how you were supposed to do it! I agree, they should have provided a longer strand. They do look really good though!
I really love the style on you and love how you take the time to figure it out and explained in the simplest way you can. But, I won't be able to do it. It have to be simple and quick. Above 4 hours I will just do 2 goddess braids and call it a day. I don't have that kind of patience.
I understand! I didnt know I had that kinda patience either 🙂 I will say once it was all said & done...I dreaded taking them out because of how light they were and how well they held up. I'd say this is a style & method for someone who has ZERO intentions on switching their style up anytime soon! Thanks for watching 💜💜
Thank you for taking one for the team, but its a no for me. There is no way Im putting in this much work on hair that is not even mine. If I want to work, I will just wear my natural hair. Thats just me. My protective styles need to be easy and quick to do. #teamlazy
That's what I'm here for! I would say if you had the time and wanted a style you could wear for weeks ( and wash..etc) then go for it! But it was time consuming!
My sister took them out for me. I only took out a few. It was easy for the front, but not the back. Installing was challenging, but taking down was a breeze!
I absolutely agree with everything you said about this hair hunny i wish i would’ve seen your video before i brought this hair i been at it for three days now my hair is about as long as the 18in hair however that was not the problem putting my hair through the lock has been a headache i completed the front but the back is to be continued, i may not complete it lol🤦🏾♀️
This tutorial is great! My hair is thin and more wavy in the back than curly and I'm finding that the individual locs are slipping because my hair doesn't hold a braid. Do you have any recommendations?
I just bought this hair and I know you made this video awhile ago...but I think you're supposed to wrap the hair around your hair as opposed to using the hook to pull the hair through and the wrap part is short to wrap around the base only. It's not needed for the length of your hair, if needed buy spring twist hair separately...I know, you know this now...I'm just trying to amp myself up for my install 🙄🤭😉😁🙏🏽❤
i feel like as a crochet style; this is wayyy extra work to do to achieve this style. most people do crochet to get it over and done with in a quick timeframe. it’s cute though!!
Turned out cute...but um yeah confusing...like nope not feeling it today...that's the type of hair I will put right back on the pack and go for something I've done before!! 🤗🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw somebody else install these before. How she did it was she pulled her braid through the loc then wrapped the loose end around the top to hide the knot.
Shoot! I wish I would have too! lol. But when doing new styles I try not to look up any videos. I try to take it from a buyers perspective. Like you're just in the beauty supply store, buy them and come home to install. Thanks for watching!
Yes!! I’ve been waiting for you to do this tutorial lol... Loveth Speaks did one a little while ago as well. It seems to be more challenging with longer hair, but I’ll still give it a try. Here’s the link to Loveth Speaks’ turtorial in case you’re interested: ruclips.net/video/ii3QnREqRAU/видео.html
Vandy Vanity has two excellent tutorials on doing these exact locs on long hair. She used the folding method and it only took her two hours total from plaiting to locs installation using that method. Check out her videos for an easier installation method. ruclips.net/video/24YiBUvADdQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/m8wKrIeXhSM/видео.html
Its okay but not for me. I'm more of a convenient person that just doesn't want to take the time to do this "Work" that will take some time to do. I commend those who doesn't mind doing this!

Great tutorial! Have you tried folding your hair in half to see if that will cover with the loose piece on the loc?
As a pregnant nurse, I’m so happy I found this channel!
Me too!
When I saw these I never thought that was how you were supposed to do it! I agree, they should have provided a longer strand. They do look really good though!
Thanks boo! Yes, a longer strand would of been perfect!!!!
Definitely will be sticking to my Bobbi Boss Nu Locs, they havent failed me yet! Loved the video though!

They look great and you look beautiful!! I’m so curious though, how did you take them out?
My sister took them out for me. I only took out a few. It was easy for the front, but not the back. Installing was challenging, but taking down was a breeze!

Victoria Williams See I know I’m not the only 1 😂😂😂
Jai Marii Thank You & I’m here for All of The Hair styles 😍
This is why I love faux locs soooo much because you can f&@k them up but they still turn out great
🤣
Is there a way to just wrap all the hair with a longer piece even that lil piece
I really appreciate you just getting to the point right from the beginning!!👏🏾👏🏾💕💕
This tutorial is great! My hair is thin and more wavy in the back than curly and I'm finding that the individual locs are slipping because my hair doesn't hold a braid. Do you have any recommendations?
Please look at Mary K.Bella tutorial! She shows the perfect way to so this
❤ this method. It'll be worth it in the end.
Really love your hair, this is cute on you
Thank you!

Thank you!!💜
Jai Marii you’re welcome!! 😘

Jai - I love your videos - I became natural October 2019 so almost been a year for me Keep doing what you do ❤️
I really love the way you styled ur hair 😘💗
Number one slay Queen 🔥🔥🤩💗
Excellent review. I’m with you I think the wrap piece should have been longer.
They put instruction a month ago on RUclips ..look up hipsta locs
i feel like as a crochet style; this is wayyy extra work to do to achieve this style. most people do crochet to get it over and done with in a quick timeframe. it’s cute though!!
I've done many crochet videos & yes, this took a little more time than I wanted it to! But it did come out cute lol
How many packs did you use
Chileeeee this ran my pressure up. But your hair looks great as always.
😂
Turned out cute...but um yeah confusing...like nope not feeling it today...that's the type of hair I will put right back on the pack and go for something I've done before!! 🤗🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
😂😂😂😂😂. That is what I would do as well
I that you did this. I just prefer to individual braid it and wrap the other hair around it. You had a lot of patience. Good Job
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful I love them😍
I saw this on Main Street today, It seems to be the same hair and Mayde also has hair like this.
I saw somebody else install these before. How she did it was she pulled her braid through the loc then wrapped the loose end around the top to hide the knot.

It's on Sam's beauty. Com 😍
The extra tail...is only to cover the knots. Not to wrap the entire braid
Understandable. My only point was it would have went 10x faster to just extend the loose hair ..that's all! 😀
@@JaiMarii that's a good thought too!
I braid good on someone else head but mines child please
Very helpful
Looks cute on you 👍🏽
Thank you!!
GURLLLL U A GOOD 1 BC THAT TAKES TOOO LONG,, ISSA NO FOR ME,,,
I DID PASSION TWIST LIKE THAT AND LAWWWWDDDTTT,,,NO
Amazon
I use the FreeTresse Faux Locs. No extra hair on the side just a loop. Check out the Jazz Nicole Method on RUclips... She's the Guru of Faux Locs
Thanks for sharing but you’re right, too much time for me. Love your channel
Its okay but not for me. I'm more of a convenient person that just doesn't want to take the time to do this "Work" that will take some time to do. I commend those who doesn't mind doing this!
At least it looks good after all of that. Lol
That's a latch hook needle. These are latch hook locks
This look like as much work as to do it the traditional way
It looks so confusing I keep rewatching this video to understand lol but I’m gonna pass. It looks good on you tho!
💖💖💖💖🙏
Nope, No Ma’am won’t try this one. It’s looking good on you too time consuming for me 🤦🏽♀️. I’ll stick to your easier 1hr-2hr styles
Please watch Mary K Bella! She has the perfect tutorial for this hair!
Okay thanks! I’ll check it out. 🤗
No thank you.
Beautiful job 😍👌🏾
