Thanks Jim. Nope it won't. 1% yesterday. We have almost 2000 more gallons of sap this year and we are down about 40 gallons. Ahh the life of a farmer.
Got a cold week goin here in the Western Catskills...20s and teens at night. Hoping for a reset and a couple day run early next week and that'll be it
We had a crap winter as far as cold and snow, now here comes maple weekend and they both show up. Its like getting your ass kicked twice in the same day.

Do you run a bubbler in your evaporator? If so could you do a video on it.
I do. I am planning to do one but things have been a little busy.
@dunnfamilymaple7642 understandable. We just did our last boil here in Ontario and we have maple weekend as well. Just thinking about building or adding one to our evaporator. Wondering what you use as a air supply and if you think it improves evap rate ect
It has its own high pressure fan. I sure do think it helps with rate. I have it out right now and fell like we are way down on evaporation rate.
How many taps are you running this year

like your four legged companyin. how mine taps and how much have you produced? i have around 1350 taps and have 257 gal. made. got a good freeze going on should help. good luck.
He's a good boi. We are around 1600 taps and area at about 215 right now. We have mostly red maples and the sugar this year is trash.
