I had a had near death experience. I told my friends, they think I'm making this up, but I'm not. I fell from a cliff once, when I felt my head hit a rock I suddenly started floating in the air, for a few seconds I was confused, then I saw my physical body laying on the ground 30 feet below me, I flew down to my body and stared at it, I didn't really know how to get back in. I stood there for a few hours, and worried that I might never be able to get back into my body again and basically die. A very weird thing happened, I saw a dark blue figure with green eyes floating toward me, it looked at me and said "Think of moving your fingers physically, you should easily get back into your body again." Then suddenly I thought about moving my fingers physically, I woke up and could see my physical hands again. I thanked that ghost thing, whatever it was. I never considered death the same since.

Think about the function of life, being conscious, breathing, seeing, tasting, smelling, hearing, etc. sure, scientists may have an explanation somehow but life is something that can’t just come out of nowhere if that makes sense to you.

Man I've been afraid of death for the longest time. I get this feeling when I think of the nothingness that's probably going to happen to me when I die, and I start to hyperventilate and freak out. The only way I can describe it (and it's super accurate) is when you're little, and you're in line for an amusement park ride. You're about to get on and you realize you never even wanted to be in this line. The ride looks scary. You want to get off. Your parents put up a good fight, but you plead enough and they give in, and you're let out of line and you're safe again. Except there's no one to plead to in this line. You're in this line for good. You didn't choose to come here, yet here you stand. You want to get out, feel that security and be safe. But there's no way you can. You HAVE to get on that ride. Number 1's the only reason I fear death honestly. Just the thought of just not being able to sense or hear of feel anything, and you just cease to exist anymore. It's really hard to imagine, even though once you were dead it's not like you would be able to know and be scared about it, it's just the fear of the thought that nothing happens after it. I like to believe we can have a better ending after life, like having a second chance.
What if when we die the light at the end of the tunnel is the light to another hospital room, there we are born and the only reason you come out crying is because you remember everything from your past life and you’re crying at the fact that you died and lost everything, as you grow you start to forget your past life and focus on the life you have now, but patches of memory stay behind and that memory cause deja vu. I knew a couple guys who claimed to have died and came back and described what they saw; One friend said after a motorcycle accident, every nerve in his body went into extreme pain for a split second, and then he went into blackness but swears he saw glimpses of his soul outside his body. However, it was peaceful anyways. The other friend said after a drug overdose he saw what he believed to be "Hell". First, it was darkness, and he saw the worst thing he's ever seen: a replay of the moment he watched his father die (in real life) on repeat for what felt like an eternity.

Personally, (no offense to Christians) I believe that god would let anyone in to Heaven and anyone into Hell, just depending on how they acted in life. You are incorrect. Before we were born our consciousness was not developed, the human consciousness does not fully develop until at least 12 years old. You are an adult with a fully developed consciousness. The human consciousness that is you and that lives inside your body is pure energy and energy can never be destroyed. Therefore a consciousness is always conscious. At death, the consciousness is released from the body that can no longer support it and that energy is transferred directly back to its source, the Sun. What you end up with in death is a consciousness that is trapped inside of the Sun, fully conscious of the heat of the Sun, but unable to burn up since energy can never be destroyed. All cases of Near Death Experience, who never even died, still all report being drawn to a white light as if they were being pulled from their body. Death has always been a free will choice. It will be like a deep sleep where you have no perception of anything. 1000 years could feel like a single day. I truly hope that it is wrong. If it is right the universe as a whole is deeply cold,cruel and unjust. I think even though this world is that way I can't believe everything is that way. I can't believe that children who die young, people who are murdered or people with severe disablities will never be given a real second chance to live. I think ideally people reincarnate until they have learned and experienced all they can in this world. After they fully atone for anything they may have done wrong after many lives they can enter the higher plane or heaven if they choose. I think everyone will mutually understand each other and they pain they may have caused one another. I think that the pain of this life will be so overshadowed by the happiness in the higher plane that it will practically dissolve. The heaven can be whatever you will it to be as well. There is no hell just constant trial and error. Of course this is all just speculation. But ideally thats how I think the universe should work.

What's so scary about death? Just like the video says, death is nothingness and nothingness is death. I had a had near death experience. I told my friends, they think I'm making this up, but I'm not. I fell from a cliff once, when I felt my head hit a rock I suddenly started floating in the air, for a few seconds I was confused, then I saw my physical body laying on the ground 30 feet below me, I flew down to my body and stared at it, I didn't really know how to get back in. I stood there for a few hours, and worried that I might never be able to get back into my body again and basically die. A very weird thing happened, I saw a dark blue figure with green eyes floating toward me, it looked at me and said "Think of moving your fingers physically, you should easily get back into your body again." Then suddenly I thought about moving my fingers physically, I woke up and could see my physical hands again. I thanked that ghost thing, whatever it was. I never considered death the same since.

I get this feeling when I think of the nothingness that's probably going to happen to me when I die, and I start to hyperventilate and freak out.
The only way I can describe it (and it's super accurate) is when you're little, and you're in line for an amusement park ride. You're about to get on and you realize you never even wanted to be in this line. The ride looks scary. You want to get off. Your parents put up a good fight, but you plead enough and they give in, and you're let out of line and you're safe again.
Except there's no one to plead to in this line. You're in this line for good. You didn't choose to come here, yet here you stand. You want to get out, feel that security and be safe.
But there's no way you can.

One friend said after a motorcycle accident, every nerve in his body went into extreme pain for a split second, and then he went into blackness but swears he saw glimpses of his soul outside his body. However, it was peaceful anyways.
The other friend said after a drug overdose he saw what he believed to be "Hell". First, it was darkness, and he saw the worst thing he's ever seen: a replay of the moment he watched his father die (in real life) on repeat for what felt like an eternity.

I had a had near death experience. I told my friends, they think I'm making this up, but I'm not. I fell from a cliff once, when I felt my head hit a rock I suddenly started floating in the air, for a few seconds I was confused, then I saw my physical body laying on the ground 30 feet below me, I flew down to my body and stared at it, I didn't really know how to get back in. I stood there for a few hours, and worried that I might never be able to get back into my body again and basically die. A very weird thing happened, I saw a dark blue figure with green eyes floating toward me, it looked at me and said "Think of moving your fingers physically, you should easily get back into your body again." Then suddenly I thought about moving my fingers physically, I woke up and could see my physical hands again. I thanked that ghost thing, whatever it was. I never considered death the same since.

How about, if earth were to be destroyed than your consciousness would be transported to another galaxy far far away and where you will experience a new life there. That feeling you have of just being and existing, that "I or Me" feeling, it will never fade away. You will ALWAYS exist someway because after all you practically are god yourself, you are the universe you are God and you have just found a way to create and mold yourself in to a being that can see,hear,talk and do other shit. Don't be afraid of Death because the death we know it does not exist, real death is something not only pretty mind blowing but kind of beautiful...Of course I'm just random on the net.

I believe that people should question everything so I'm glad wrote this comment but it could've used a bit more fluff, like an explanation as to why you think it's shit. It will be like a deep sleep where you have no perception of anything. 1000 years could feel like a single day. I truly hope that it is wrong. I think even though this world is that way I can't believe everything is that way. I can't believe that children who die young, people who are murdered or people with severe disablities will never be given a real second chance to live. I think ideally people reincarnate until they have learned and experienced all they can in this world. After they fully atone for anything they may have done wrong after many lives they can enter the higher plane or heaven if they choose. I think everyone will mutually understand each other and they pain they may have caused one another. I think that the pain of this life will be so overshadowed by the happiness in the higher plane that it will practically dissolve. The heaven can be whatever you will it to be as well. There is no hell just constant trial and error. Of course this is all just speculation. But ideally thats how I think the universe should work.

What's so scary about death? Just like the video says, death is nothingness and nothingness is death. You won't be able to know that you're dead when you're dead because your brain would not work anymore. Just think of it this way: It's like the time before you were born. You did not know you're not alive because "you" didn't exist, and there was no "you" to process that.

I feel like once you die you just aimlessly move around the last place you were when you were alive. #1 doesn't seem so bad at all if it means people would suffer for eternity or simply be imprisoned in a confined area. Sadly I can confirm life after death with my personal experiences even though I sometimes wish there was no god (Not trying to convince you or anything like that)
