Hey I’m Albanian but I live in the USA. I think it’s impressive you’re living in Kosovo without speaking the Albanian language. I’m thinking about going back for a while and this video gave me some extra motivation. :) What are you doing for work there and what city are you in? Kalofsh mir
Heyyy @esmokez95 !!! I moved to jersey on 1999 as a refugee at age 8, I’ve only been back TWICE! I’m 33 years old have an 8 year old son, my husband son and I love a comfortable life in downtown Brooklyn, right in the middle of center city and shopping area. HOWEVER IVE BEEN seriously considering moving back just for a year or 2 so my son can learn the language and the culture( where we live there are ZERO Albanians we have no Albanian friends and my husband is 3rd generation American his mom was from Albania dad kosovar) although he understands Albanian he rarely speaks it and I feel sad after everything i went through in the war my son has no interest in mine and his culture and roots, also I want him to experience life from a different perspective. I recently inherited a beautiful 3 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment in prizren (my hometown) I only went there in 2016 for 5 days to claim the legal rights to it and it’s one of the very few of not the only 24/7 doorman building so it’s protected from squatters!! I’m working independently on Amazon selling products so I can work Remotely I work maybe 12 hours a week and make an extra 2 to 2500$ a month (my husband takes care of all the bills) is 2 grand enough to live in kosova? I think it translates to 1800 euros, my husband will stay here because of his career and I do not want to bother him for money also keep in my my condo/apartment is completely paid off so other then utilities and food personal expenses ect. Do you think 1800 euros is enough for us to live there monthly and be able to travel to nearby countries every few months?? Please lmk my parents said it’s more then enough especially since I won’t have rent or a mortgage to worry about but please lmk or give me any advice if you ever see this Much love from nyc ! You know what! Kosovo loves people like you, we need all these positive people. I'm kosovar myself, and remember first time my wife came to Kosovo, that was like 24 years ago, right after the war. As a swedish, she was completely shocked. Now after we been visiting Kosovo every single year, since then, she's loving the country more and more and would really like to move from Sweden to Kosovo, meanwhile we both know that would be a financial struggle, so we choose to visit instead so often we can. Thanks for representing my dear homeland and wish you the very best 🙏
A wonderfully brave young woman you are, and an inspiration, thank you. As I'm also very seriously looking at the Balkans I'm curious about your process of obtaining the residency permit. I was under the impression that it's a bit difficult there, so I've been looking at Albania. Thanks again and the very best.
im glad you enjoyed it! Also.. obssesed with your country. I have an Istanbul food vlog you should check out, let me know what you think! ruclips.net/video/V2EF7xsrm3k/видео.html
Thanks a lot for video. You remarks are so true...I had chance to live anywhere in the world, due to my nature of work. But decided to live in Kosovo. One thing I like mostly about Kosovo, having a house in Brezovica during winter takes 45 min from Prishtina to go in mountains to ski , while in summer takes two to three hours to go to the beach. Having option to chose driving just few hours to 4-5 different countries for holiday.
@@proyectocookie I am very well informed! I’ve been to the Balkans over a dozen times, and even though groups like you support these, the majority of Albanians are family oriented atleast in the smaller cities and towns

@@billyjean7454Yes definitely that sum is more than enough to live for two people I would say above the average.
How much the rents cost?

What's the minimum wage in Kosovo and is getting residence permit easy in Kosovo.?
Minimum wage?
A residence permit in Kosovo is like an official permission to drown yourself in a cesspool.

My page supports all human rights including LGBTQ, and so does Kosovo. You can watch my video on this year's pride march to be better informed.
