It is incredible what you are trying to do, and you really are making a difference wven though it can feel disheartening.I feel the same as you.Managed to rescue and get one dog adopted, but I want to take them all. I am traveling in a campervan and met the street dogs in Calabria Italy, Bosnia, Montenegro and cannot cope with how neglected many dogs are and constant reproduction of more and more on streets, the lack of action about it is crazy. I am due to visit Kosovo/ Albania. I will feed the stray dogs I meet on the way. I have so much respect for what you are doing.

USA call sweet potato Yams. They don't know the difference supermarket been labelling them that way for many years. Don't blame their ignorance. What WestIndians, African, Asian and other countries call yams are alot more starchy, not as sweet can be white or purple. Some varieties can even grow to a very large size. 😮

Yams are hard to make crunchy when in the shape of a fry they dont become crunchy but if you thinly slice them and mix a batter of flour and water you can make yam fritters which are a asian (specifically vietnamese) dish that i make for my family all the time

this is so appalling! there are many many Kosovars who are loving to dogs but there are those who are cruel and lack any compassion to be kind to dogs. this is such a disappointment and it breaks my heart to see this. politicians have been doing jack Sh*t. they have taken strays and put them into horrible confined spaces out in the middle of nowhere. rescue shelters suffer bcs of bureaucracy. and having to pay the fosters is just insane! Shame on the government of Kosova for allowing this to happen. 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

MY best advice to anyone going to Japan is just be honest about why you're going. Strictly going to Osaka or Tokyo? thats fine? You want to see a little bit of everything, that's fine. There's a plan to accommodate everyone. But trying to figure it out after you've already landed, you're going to waste time and money thats my 2 cents. Plan ahead, do your research.

It's also worth noting that most places close by 5PM (sometimes even earlier during the winter months!) so it's important to plan your daily schedule accordingly to make the most of every day. Great tips for first timers! I definitely learned a few of these through trial and error myself
