@RocketRoketto Is that right? Then, tell that to the fathers of those children who wanted to keep them. Tell them their child doesn't get to live because a selfish 304 didn't want responsibility and didn't have the brains to protect against pregnancy in the first place.

I’ll lay a bet that not one of these so called pro-lifers would dream of fostering or adopting a child. They’re not pro-life. They are pro birth. After birth they wouldn’t think twice about throwing the mothers and their newborns into the gutter.
You do realize the population growth in most Western countries with abortion has gone below 2.0, right? A society needs a pop growth above 2.2 in order to survive. I think America is down to 1.6, which means we are a dying country. Abortion has become too accepted that it's become a form of birth control... after the fact. It's no longer Plan B. It's Plan A.
26:37: Lmaooo I have Elhers-Danlos Syndrome. EDS can be severe in some cases, and minor in others. My quality of life is perfectly fine. Also, there is no cure (yet)
I will say this episode is from 2009 and I can only imagine how misunderstood EDS was then considering how it's still misunderstood by a lot of medical professionals. In the end, I don't think EDS was a good example of a fetal diagnosis that would lead to abortion. Even with a vEDS diagnosis, I have doubts a doctor would provide abortion as an option unless there were other complications (I will say I'm not a doctor). Mother with EDS is a whole other issue and I know some women won't get pregnant because of the risks.
@ Depending on what type of EDS you have, some women actually have quicker and easier labors, due to the elastic property of it. Like, some women with hypermobile EDS may experience less severe perineal tears during vaginal delivery due to increased joint flexibility. But it also comes along with a lot of risks, like rapid labor, placental issues, and cervical insufficiency.
@screamsinsignlanguage Yeah the women I'm talking about have concerns about the uterus wall ripping leading to internal bleeding. Definitely a wide range of concerns and considerations just depending on the type of EDS.
Actually for different people there is different severitys I'm 19 and have to be carried for stairs and can barely managed a 2 minute waddle I've had dislocations since 2 years old and have permanently misplaced joints because of it causing severe muscle loss and irreparable damage to tendons and ligaments just because urs isn't bad doesn't mean noones is count yourself lucky because I wish I had years of movement left

The thing is that they mixed up Ehler's Danlos Syndrome and portray it as worse than it is. Mainly hypermobility of the joints. Skin is not that fragile.
I had to be smothered in steriod cream and wrapped head to toe in bandages that were changed every 30 mins until I was 14 because of my eds most cases are low severity but there are the unlucky few like me whose lives have been extremely restricted because of the chronic pain it can cause daily
Not all types of EDS can be diagnosed before birth but vEDS is one of them and the most severe. At the same time, I still don't think a doctor would provide abortion as an option on that diagnosis alone because they don't know how severe the case will be. They should have just left it at a fatal fetal anomaly imo.

I know I'm looking at it through 2024 eyes but that last episode only aired in 2009. Probably one of the most annoying episodes I've seen for a topic that definitely needs to be discussed but isn't represented well. An EDS diagnosis alone is very unlikely to raise abortion as an option. Just leave it at FFA to not overcomplicate things or give an example of the mother's health being at risk.
Somehow who feel bad for the aborted, never care about the orphans or the parents or single mothers struggling to make ends meet, or the rapists murderers and homeless folks grown up in dysfunctional environments. That's such small and narrow world view. Feel pity for such people.

I came up with my own villain based on the anti abortion related crimes. I call him "Life Punisher". He was just a regular college guy until he got his girlfriend pregnant. He was happy and wanted to keep the baby, but wanted to terminate it to continue her studies. He begged her not to until he caved in and let her, and the guilt and pain of him losing the chance to be a father darkened his heart until he finally snaps and kills. After that he continues doing it, becoming Life Punisher. He gets a job as a janitor at a clinic cause it's the last place anyone would look and where he can find targets, then he follows them and kills the women and their partners for allowing them to "kill" their unborn child, and occasionally blow up other clinics with everyone inside. All to scare people from ever getting one. Been thinking of making a horror comic with him.
The second clip is so bizarre because the historical accounts of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad from authentic hadiths and the biography of Muhammad, as well as 1400 years of history show that the American revert to Islam had an accurate analysis of his religion, so the character's line about American intolerance is so accurate though strangely used to portray him as insane. He's not insane, the episode is basically Islamophobic gaslighting. Then the psychologist attempts to analyse him but it's a known fact that psychological conclusions are overly represented by a demographic called WEIRD basically upper class white western Europeans, so how would she accurately analyse his religion when it is from the Early Medieval in Arabia and she had probably never studied it to have the right context as to the possibility that the guy is simply following his religion accurately? The point of religion is just to have a relationship with a supernatural entity. Not all religions have the same objective. Accept it.
You'd have to watch the whole episode. The guy was using religion as an excuse for essentially being an incel. The girl at the end "dated" him but if I remember right, he wasn't able to perform in the bedroom. When that happened to him, it sent him into a spiral, and rather than turning to religion as a solace, he adopted a radical form of religion to justify his own hatred of the women who wronged him, which eventually snowballed into what happened. I agree that there were some pretty xenophobic aspects of the episode, but in the end, he was just an incel, who was angry at women, who also happened to be Muslim, but they make a big deal out of his religion, because he himself makes such a big deal about his religion.
Except in the storyline religion was not the driver for his actions, a girl laughing at him was. No religion allows someone to be killed because they laughed at you, however you justify it.
if i remmenber the episode correctly, the guy is not realy what he says, he just converted after deciding to kill the teacher, because he though he could use religion as a excuse, hes basically playing a role.
