I must admit, Carisi used to annoy me when he FIRST joined SVU. However, in years since, Carisi has come into his own as a detective, & NOW as an ADA, he's matured, become more finessed, grown more empathetic, & become ALMOST as good as his mentor Barba... ALMOST😉 I enjoy Carisi😄

That judge, Ellery, let the guy go because the guy, Getz, had dirt on him. What dirt? Video of Ellery sleeping with a 17 year old. The judge himself had commit statutory rape. He later made a deal to expose Getz and get him and his accomplices imprisoned, and yet Ellery was still a judge, which Carisi did NOT like (and I agree, as the judge should have been disbarred and imprisoned).
I don't know the full case I might be totally wrong but based on this clip, she lied about her age and gave consent to sex. In that case how is the guy at fault??

So you think anyone who is 17 is easily manipulated and then in 1 hour comes their 18th birthday and POOF! All of a sudden they are no longer was at one easily manipulated? People can be manipulated just as easily if they were 18,19, or 20; they would still have a lot of growing up to do. Her being under consenting age means nothing!
The second one is absolutely crazy, a state judge has no legal right whatsoever to base his judgement on his own opinion of what act is constitutional. That is by no legal sense whatsoever, his decision to make. Absolutely outrageous
Same here. A lot of people get away with phony plea deals and it’s disgusting that prosecutors, attorneys, and judges are all okay with this. Brock Turner and Curt Johnson are prime examples of this.
Some of the most recent SVUs have been hit or miss for me but one of my favorite recent moment was when that judge changed his cushy house arrest into actual prison time.
I like Carisi as ADA...but he spends way too much time in the squad room & at crime scenes. When did you ever see Barba, Stone, or Cabot do that? They visited the squad room occasionally...but it's almost like Carisi is still a detective as much as he hangs around.
Casey Novak started her career in SVU at every crime scene then eventually she spent less time there. Jo Marlowe, though she was Stabler’s ex-partner, also spent time at crime scenes. Carisi isn’t the first is all I’m saying.
Why is this a compilation of "favorite verdicts" when the majority are nothing but a bunch of frustrating ones? Like, I'm assuming that they continue to the actual verdict time, so why not show those clips instead?

A judge cannot just ignore the law because another law that has nothing to do with it is different then the actual law. They do not have that type of power.
The "My office is satisfied", "Well, I'm not" scene is the one that sticks with me the most.
