- This drill is shot with three targets
T1 at 3 yards one pace to the left
T2 at 5 yards one pace to the right
T3 at 7 yards in the center
Three strings, gun is at low ready
String1: on signal 2 body shots each target near to far
String 2: on signal, T1 3 body shots, T2 2 body shots, T3 1 body shot
String 3: on signal T1 one head shot, T2 2 body shots, T3 3 body shots
Total time under 8 seconds is considered John Wick like.

What is the reason he is always dropping the mag to check it? Is it ocd?
Competition muscle memory. Immediately after finishing stage you are required to drop the mag and eject the cartridge and show clear. If you fail to do so before walking away you can fail the stage or be DQed. Of course this isn't competition, but you put a pro in their element and muscle memory takes over.
he does it to look at how many rounds he's got left in the mag. It's a good habit to manage your ammo after you're done shooting. it's not just for competitors.
