Unbelievable this right? The best thing in our lives, is to make friend's, to play game's, speak in discord and TS but to meet your friend's face to face is a gift, life experience and honor and i am so grateful and lucky man. Nice to see you all and nice to meet you all. Great experience!!!
We learned about this in the summit, and it's one of the few things I can share that's no longer NDA: 25% of current players have been playing since 2015, and 50% of current players have been playing since 2016-2018. It was a rather eye-opening revelation!
Same here for me, and I officially started my WoWs journey last year, and it's been a rough ride. And yeah, hope everyone having a perfect time at any moment! Fair seas!
8 years since I uploaded the first video on my channel, it's means a lot to me to be able to meet creators who share my passion, Thank you to all of you
Take a moment and pause the video on the shirt, and feel free to share any names you see that made a difference for you. When they see their name in the comments, it'll make their day!
I'll start - NikoPower, who fueled my addiction in this game by posting contests on the forums, with prizes including ships like Saipan, Imperator Nikolai II, and even this shirt! It's one of 10 signed by Steven Seagall back when Wargaming did their "Strategize and Strike" campaign. I felt the shirt could use a few more signatures :).
Pops Place! back when i was just a wee noob i used to watched him all the time and it was so fun. The other great streamer i used to watch after pops was ChaosMachine(dont know if he was on the shirt), great energy and funny moments all day every day with him.
So happy to meet you brother TC in real, after 6 year's and i am so glad to be your friend. Can't wait dor the next time, great meeting indeed and all the guys are incredible people!!!
Great job keeping the older community engaged and active, but what about new players trying to enter against 12 year veterans and not being able to compete at all due to the barrier to entry being so high? I just started and doubt I will continue for long because the grind for a new player is so tedious and not fun. No operations for low tiers, the brick wall you hit at tier 5/6 without captains and bonuses and being called bad every time you play starting out by the toxic community makes for a bitter experience. What about us? For every one of these community reps and youtubers you lose, new players will never replace them because we are chased off long before we could hope to relevant. Just my 2 cents.
@@SeaRaptor definitely economic, I earn very little credits per match and very little ship xp because i mostly just have to play co op. I have no commanders where all the vets have full commanders and generally play premium ships to swap them into, and I find I am uptiered so often I have little impact on random battles so I stick to pve to not make my team mad. It has taken me weeks to grind tier 5 battleships/cruiser/destroyer of the US lines, I dont mind practicing until I get it right, but I often just get smashed so fast in random battles I cant even know what I did wrong. no one even talked to me for the first week plus of playing until someone nice invited me to a guild, but I ask in chat a lot if anyone wants to play division star or whatever so I can learn but I havent had much luck. I do watch a lot of videos here but my aim sucks still and my ships have no real upgrades etc so even when I hit I dont do much damage it seems. And even in coop chat isnt very supportive. I got yelled at yesterday for using hydroacoustic search because there was no subs in the match but I thought it worked to spot torps too... so not really sure what im doing. Unfortunately I didnt know about the codes or anything when I signed up so I have no credits or free xp really. Thats just my experience, so probably not true for everyone but I came in blind and after almost a month still have no idea what Im doing wrong.
@@Thejoeb As a veteran, it's hard for many of us to sympathize with newer players; most of us have long since forgotten having to grind out credits to buy tech tree ships (I did that a lot back in 2016) or developing basic skills like aiming. All of that takes time. I'll tell you something you probably don't want to hear: I was fairly garbage for my first thousand games or so. A lot of my early Tier 10 ships like Zao - which I ground for... I think 3 months to unlock and afford - and Hindenburg I have pretty mediocre stats in because I simply wasn't that great of a player. It takes a lot of repetition to develop even an average skill level in Warships IMHO, and I don't think those reps can be skipped over. Most of the above average players you find posting videos on RUclips or streaming on Twitch have thousands of games and hundreds of hours of play time. Expecting to figure everything out right out of the gate is unrealistic. You have to give yourself the time and the grace to learn... and to make mistakes along the way and learn from them. When it comes to "getting gud", there is no shortcut. You simply have to invest the time. Economically, there are a few things you can do to help speed you along a little bit. The first is Premium Time. If you're enjoying the game and playing it a lot, you will get a nice return on your investment for chipping in a few bucks here and there, even if it's just for a weekend. WG regularly sells premium time packages for a few hundred doubloons or a few bucks that are good for 48-72 hours. Another is to watch some streams. All of the CCs featured in this video are handed giveaway codes each month that are usually good for a variety of things, many of which help economically (premium ships and/or econ boosters are the big ones). There's a lot of free stuff to be earned in dribs and drabs, but it does require investing some time to track it down. There are monthly limits on how many CC redemptions you can cash in, but it never hurts to chase as much as you can. Having this conversation has given me a video idea, maybe I'll find the time to work on it over the next few days.
@@Thejoeb Hydroacoustic search DOES spot torpedoes and DDs in smoke as well. Sometimes you just have to develop that thick skin and ignore chat. Feel free to find me on my streams and send in replays so I can help if you want. I like your idea of staying in PvE/Operations for now until you feel more comfortable with the ships. Yes, the grind feels long, but believe it or not it used to be even longer! Premium time helps a lot, but the #1 tip I give to new players when they come in chat is to take your time and enjoy the ships for what they are. No need to race up the tech tree. There's nothing wrong with staying at tier 5/6 for months, even years. There's even a group of players with THOUSANDS of games in tier 1 Orlan!
I see loads of Nations getting different ships all the time. For some reason and we all know why Russian paper ships seems to be up there with the best ships in the game. But most British ships in this game have been down graded especially KG class. You have lowered the damage this ship should be able to take. I have a feeling they is a bit of British bashing here from our Russian friends.
Nice propaganda video. The game is in a horrible state and it keeps getting worse. CV rework already gone again nothing improves just more pay2win content every month terrible.

I am curious what barriers to entry you are running into. Economic? Are you playing PvE or PvP primarily?
