    Cooper Kupp has done something this year only 1 WR has ever done. Along with all the receptions, recieving yards, YAC and TDs he should be in serious MPV conversations

      He should win it. Otherwise the nfl needs to split the mvp between qbs and other positions.

    The way that coop looked at his acl injury as an opportunity to rebuild and fine tune his body specifically for his play style just shows you why he’s so successful now.

    • @James_Edward59
      @James_Edward59 2 года назад +5

      He came back faster after his injury than he ever ran in the 40 because he completely restructured and fixed his running flaws. That’s crazy to have an acl injury and come back even faster.

    ‘Are there any otyher players who came in first in every measurable category for their position and is on a team going to the super bowl that probably wouldn’t be there but for him. If only 1 other receiver in history has accomplished this feat, seems like you can’t argue whether he is deserving. He’s playing ball against the BEST DEFENDERS ON THE DAMN PLANET and consistently beating them so badly that he won EVERY CATEGORY OF RECEIVING EXCELLENCE. He led FCS in a few receiving categories as a senior in college and has apparently been a stud every year. He’s a model of consistency . Not a flash in the pan. Give the man his well earned league MVP.

    Tired of seeing QBs always getting top honors for MVP. There's more than one guy on the field and Cooper Kupp has helped the Rams be the No. 2 team in the NFC. Rodgers and Brady did well, too, but Kupp has put up numbers we don't ever see, like once in a generation. You can't say that about the QBs this year. And get that Torry Holt in the Hall already! That dudes got some salt in his beard before he's in the HoF? Dude should have been first ballot! I don't know why the league has taken so long to get these WRs in. TO and Moss both should have been first ballots. By the way, I saw TO is still out there running routes against college kids at practices. And he's burning them, too.

    I'm a long time Rams fan. I was going over some of the incredible Rams players and it occurred to me that I could make a SUPER team of JUST guys that played for the Rams that might beat any team. If you were building a super teams and you could pick all the players in their prime, if it was JUST players that were on the Rams, you'd have a SUPER baller team. You'd have a TERRIBLE time trying to pick WR's because the Rams have had some amazing ones. I'm astonished that people forget guys like Flippper Anderson and Henry Ellard, who were great but had sub par QB's in their careers. Not to dig Everett but he just wasn't elite and/or he was not in an offensive system that was conducive to all world passing numbers.

    His battery mate Matt Stafford deserves consideration as well. Very solid player. Stafford wasn’t exactly thrown into a hopeless situation and lead them to the bowl in his first year. The Rams were already good. But what about Joe Burrow? He got drafted 2 -3 years ago by the last place team. He has been a pro only 2 years and brought the cellar dweller Bengals to the super bowl. He impresses me so much. There are a lot of young QBs in the league right now that represent what I think is the best level of QB play damn near across the board. Throw out Mayfield in Cleveland, all the remaining 1-3 yr QBs are freaking GREAT players. Many are starting QB for their teams, with the GOAT and Big Ben retiring, the average age of starting QBs may be closer to 20 than 30. And their average physical skills in arms and legs seem way better and it improves play and keeps games close, to wit, every playoff game so far this year. No real point to this comment other than to say we are lucky to be watching a new golden age of excellent QB play we’ve missed for a while.

    Much respect for the great season but i need to see some semblence of consistency and a dominance factor to consider him a top tier WR. If Randy Moss, Jerry Rice & Terrell Owens weren't up for MVP then he definitely is not one...this guy had an insanely amazing season yet i guess, because he wasn't boisterous or flashy about it, that he didn't get the recognition but he should definitely be 1st team all-pro no doubt. What he's doing at the slot position is pretty amazing for his size at 6'2 210. His career was pretty mediocre until Stafford came so let's see if this will be the beginning of a new beginning...his production this year was crazy
