Dany refers to her style of playing as "lythm", lead and rhythm guitar, because she holds down both. She has really come into her own as a guitarist and front woman. And of course her vocals today are awesome. I'm glad you caught Ale's bass playing here. She often gets overlooked by other reactors in this performance because they are usually so taken aback by Pau and Dany - especially Pau. Thanks for the throwback, Dane. I never get tired of watching this and seeing people's first time reactions.

The thing about Pau in this is that she looks tiny back there but every single beat is delivered with complete confidence and attitude. She said last year when they reacted to this video that they didn't feel like they were kids when they were doing this.

Back in 2014, I came across the Enter Sandman video. I showed it to a friends, family and co-workers. Over the next few years I came across the TedX video and a few others. I thought it was really cool. But then about a year and a half ago, I saw the Blacklist Enter Sandman video. Holy Sh*t! When they walked out in that abandoned factory with Ale in the lead. Wow. I immediately asked my wife if she remembered that video that I showed her with those three young sisters playing Enter Sandman a while back. I showed her the video and said this is them now and that is that tiny bass player!

At this time they had been playing as a band for about 1 ½ years. Kirk Hammitt remarked, “The drummer kcks maximum ass!” Pau and Ale got annoyed when Dany spent time praticing her stank face and not practicing with her sisters. More fun backstory: Ellen DeGeneres had The Warning on her show, as a direct result of this video, way back in 2015. They played a live performance of Ozzy Osbourne's 'Crazy Train' for the studio audience and viewers all across America. During the interview, Ellen said that she knew that the girls had been talking about wanting to attend a music class at Berklee College of Music, in Boston, and she gifted each of the girls $10k to make that happen. While there, they worked with industry professionals and instructors, including Dave Ellefson, from Megadeth. During the course, the Ellen show recorded a series of short vlogs about the girls and their journey. As the course wrapped up, they were invited to tour the offices of Harmonix, the creators of the Rock Band video game, which was instrumental in them deciding to play music, when they were very, very young. As the tour at Harmonix was wrapping up, the girls were told that their song "Free Falling" was going to be included in the Rock Band 4 release. Later, their song "Survive" would be included in the Rock Band Rivals DLC release. I'm sure that the story goes on and on and on, but this is just a short glimpse into one branch of the "butterfly effect" that this video has created and continues to influence. Neat, huh? Thanks for being a fan!!

Ale has been playing for only about 2 yrs, while Pau and Dany have been on their instruments for about 6 yrs. When Ale was 7, Dany and Pau saw Ale could really play bass and they started practicing covers. So, to me, Ale is the anchor to them performing these covers at this age.
Dany practiced her stank face for the video. Ale was "in the pocket". They did a self-reaction to this performance last year and Pau said they off time. I didn't notice it, but she's a professional musician. A live performance shouldn't be studio perfect anyways.
I also think their music teachers told Monica and Luis these girls have something special. For example Enrique Gonzales "Bugs", a drummer friend of theirs from Monterrey, talks with them about about growing up as a musician and encourages the girls to keep going forward and give their best in their career.

Consider adding this video to your Throw Back Reactions. Ale sings Hunter while guest bassist, Thomas Illgen plays bass. Thomas gifted Ale this white Spector bass and a black glitter Spector bass you see her using in older videos and concerts until she received her custom Spector "Ale Inferno" bass in 2020 while recording the "Error" album in New Jersey.
Ale gets that look "What are the next lyrics?" after the first "RUN". Ale did not like doing that at all and Dany is having the best time knowing her younger sister's discomfort.

Lars is good with his timing? Are we talking about the same drummer. I have drummer friends who saw Metallica live and all were of the same opinion that he is OK at best live and sometimes even not that good. I personally never had a problem with his drumming per say, as I am not a drummer and all I care about for drumming is, is it musical, does it add to the song and on that Lars is very good. But as per drummers, technically they were not impressed.
