I believe this is one of their favorite songs. In fact, if I remember correctly, their choice for an album title was Martirio. One thing that impresses me about their entire song catalog is that they write based on what is needed in the song. No egos. No unnecessary solos. You mentioned Pau's drumming. Yes, in parts of this song its standard keeping time. But, go back and listen closely. There is a drum pattern she came up with that is absolutely original and innovative which fits perfectly within the song. In fact, she transitions from a standard beat to the original pattern seamlessly. Then you have the lyrical line that draws the audience to participate. They do this frequently. They don't write for themselves...they write to create an entire experience where the audience is drawn in and invited to participate. Also, constantly in their songs, you'll find moments when either the music completely drops out or you're left with perhaps a bass drum, snare or bass line and only a single voice (whether Dany or Pau) singing nearly a cappella. Actually, at times completely a cappella. That is serous confidence and fearlessness. They give everything when they perform. Great reaction.
Yes, she drums with great integral precision, but it is like she is playing the piano on the set. It flows musically but delivers masterfully. It's beautiful. Did not mean any disrespect, just noticing the flow and ease of the masterpiece. Thanks so much for the comment! More to come.
@@DaneBramageROCKS I didn’t mean to sound terse. I wholeheartedly agree. She’s so at ease and fluid that it’s mesmerizing. The reason I pointed out that pattern is Pau herself mentioned in an interview how proud she was when she wrote that drum pattern.

It's deeper than Dany's or Pau's, and it's very smooth and...dare I say elegant. All one has to to do is listen to the various versions of her singing "Let me drown" from "Choke" to pick up on it. That's a good recommendation but it's only for the live versions of Choke. The studio track of Choke is Dany doing all the lead vocals including "Let me drown" with Pau doing backup.
Another great reaction for another spectacular song by this tremendous band. It is very emotional to see Pau and her sisters enjoying her presentation so much, she infects us with her energy and feelings that she cannot contain. I think three piece bands deliver the best performance. Look at Rush, Green Day, ZZ TOP, Motorhead and Chevelle, and countless others, I mean, good God!
I suspect that what looks like fan cam pics are actually post production edited to look that way. A couple times the 4K “fades” to or from the lower resolution / handheld shake within the same uninterrupted shot.
Yes, I recently came to understand that this were professionally shot videos that were filtered over to make it look like fan content. But regardless, they got me fooled, and I absolutely love every second of it
There is a fan shot video from their tour of Argentina a few years back (2019, I think). They did this song during that concert. The arrangement was slightly different, especially with the drums in one part. But basically the rest of the song was identical. So, this is pretty much how they wrote it now 4 years ago. Don't know for a fact, but I would guess that this is one of the first songs they wrote for the "new" album which became Error. My understanding of the lyrics is that the song is about a person who lives their life in sacrifice and misery playing the role of martyr. It doesn't translate 100% into English as there is a cultural element involved as well. I have the Error CD. I played with the EQ on playback a bit and detected some of the "other" instrumentation that is buried in the mix. For example, there is a digital sequencer used deep in the mix on Disciple. If you know it's there, you can hear it on playback without messing with the EQ all that much. Also, there is some piano here and there sprinkled in on some of the other songs. I think some of that is used on the backing track during their shows. It definitely fills in for what is otherwise just three instruments and vocals. The thing for everyone to know, though, is whatever instruments are on the recordings, Dany, Pau and Ale played them. I imagine that in the studio they were like kids in a candy store exploring all the gadgets David Bendeth had at his disposal. They likely drove him nuts seeing what this or that sounded like and deciding whether to use it. LOL For them, they were there to learn about how to record their music as much as actually recording the album.
Yeah it seems there is a lot more than most people realize that goes in behind the scenes. I'm sure most bands are like that, ish, but for TW, it shows the worth ethic and attention to detail is above and beyond! Love it.

Curiosamente, no entiendo el idioma, pero es una de mis canciones favoritas. A pesar de que no se traduce bien al inglés, simplemente fluye de forma natural, ¡me encanta!
I know you already know you’re still saying Ale wrong, but I’m still going to tell you the correct way of saying it. Pretend her name is Alex, and drop the X sound at the end, and that will give you the perfect pronunciation.
Seriously I think I have it now. Alex without the X. Give me another chance, unless I get it wrong, and then give me the chance after that, lol. Al-lay.
You need to learn Spanish, so good lyrics. Remember right now other song in spanish.. Narcisista. Pau leads the sing (main voice) Necesitas aprender Español, tan buena letra. Recuerdo otra canción en español... Narcisista. Pau Liderea el canto (voz principal)

Not sure if it was mentioned already here but even Pau's face seems like laughing, actually she was about to cry. I remember her saying that this song, in this particular gig, was very emotional for her that she almost cried.
Oh really? That is awesome that even when they play, they have a connection to what they are delivering to the crowd! How cool.
Ale - Like 'AL' Bundy and then Lee Al - Lee. Like an alley behind a building you walk down - Alley
I've heard Al-lee, and Ah-lea. Like Alex without the X so is it E or eh? I think it's "eh" because Alejandra has that H. My goodness. Lol
I would guess their used some footage by their patreons. The Warning always a good choice, well done
According to some people who commented, they were professional camera set up and recording and they just used filters to make it look like that. It was intentional! 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
Dane you should also react to the song "Dust to Dust" which is sung by Pau.
THE WARNING= Mis Reinas, Mis Diosas, Mis Patronas.
✔💯
Trust me, it's on the list! 🤘🏻
I think that i found the translation for this song for you.
Sometimes the obvious things are the hardest to see.
A veces las cosas obvias son las más difíciles de ver
You suffocated with your own hands
Te asfixiaste con tus propias manos
When everything indicates that someone is finally coming to rescue you
Cuando todo apunta a que por fin alguien te viene a rescatar
You find yourself abandoned again
Te encuentras nuevamente abandonado
Drown in your martyrdom
En tu martirio ahógate
It's your destiny, surrender!
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
You try to search for an explanation deep within your being
Intentas buscar explicación en lo profundo de tu ser
And you fall back into the void
Y vuelves a caer en el vacío
At last you secretly realize that the pain will stay
Al fin te das cuenta en secreto que el dolor se quedará
It will be your new life of martyrdom
Será tu nueva vida de martirio
There is no turning back
Ya no hay vuelta atrás
You can't escape the fire at your feet
No puedes escapar del fuego a tus pies
And in the darkness you will get lost
Y en la oscuridad te perderás
Drown in your martyrdom
En tu martirio ahógate
It's your destiny, surrender!
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
Sometimes the obvious things are the hardest to see.
A veces las cosas obvias son las más difíciles de ver
Drown in your martyrdom
En tu martirio ahógate
It's your destiny, surrender!
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
Learn from those who suffered
Aprende de los que sufrieron
If you have to live in fear
Si hay que vivir en miedo
It's better to die in the hands of goodbye
Es mejor morir en manos de un adiós
Your sad life, foolish martyr, say goodbye
Tu vida triste, mártir tonto, di adiós
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!
¡Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!
¡Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!
Oh, my, goodness!! See, their writing is brilliant. Every song, every time. What's great though, this sings better in Spanish than English IMO. Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing. Keep on Rockin' 🤘🏻
Hopefully by now you know their names are pronounced like Danny, Pow, and Ahlay (slight emphasis on the first syllable).
For sure, watch any of my more previous TW Vids and you'll see. I got taught.
Hey, I heard you live in CO. You going to The Warning show in Denver May 9?
Darn right I am! 🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
Me too. Driving from St. Louis.
AH-lay
Yup. I know, yet I struggle. 😂🤘🏻⚡🤘🏻
@@DaneBramageROCKS chuckle
lol It is Ale like Alley way
Yeah I suck at that, it's like Alex without the X
I know you already know you’re still saying Ale wrong, but I’m still going to tell you the correct way of saying it. Pretend her name is Alex, and drop the X sound at the end, and that will give you the perfect pronunciation.
Except Ale herself pronounces it Ah-lay. 😊
@@robertott1172 no she doesn’t. I’m a native Spanish speaker, and she doesn’t say it like that at all.
Seriously I think I have it now. Alex without the X. Give me another chance, unless I get it wrong, and then give me the chance after that, lol. Al-lay.
It’s just Alejandra without the “jandra “ part.
@@DaneBramageROCKS no worries man. Just friendly banter. I’m sorry, but I have to.
You need to learn Spanish, so good lyrics. Remember right now other song in spanish.. Narcisista. Pau leads the sing (main voice)
Necesitas aprender Español, tan buena letra. Recuerdo otra canción en español... Narcisista. Pau Liderea el canto (voz principal)
I am working on getting translations correct especially since I cover multiple bands and singers that perform in different languages and translations. So, it's a challenge but I will do my best.
