I organize my bag pretty much EXACTLY the same way. It also helps to keep them in a specific order so that you might more readily see if you forgot a disc somewhere on the course. Sometimes we players like to throw multiple discs on "practice" rounds and it can be easy to forget to pick up all the discs. By having a specific order to the discs, you have a better chance of realizing a disc is missing before moving on and leaving it behind.
Took your advice and bagged multiple of the same discs molds! A Buzzz SS and a Buzzz OS are key in my midrange slots (although the Rollo is still my fav midrange) and I bag a K1 soft and a K3 hard berg!

For understable fairway I recommend the Mint Jackalope. If you are wanting another OS mid to try check out the Terminal Velocity Ursus. Carry both in my Squatch Lore
Other accessories that is nice to have, that weren’t in your great video, are band-aids, sun protection, mosquito protection, a spare towel and a sharpie so you can get your aces signed on the track. (Oh, and btw, your Swedish are way better than most Americans on RUclips) 👍 Thanks again for a great video and channel 👍👍
Hey try the Trash Panda Ozone for your Understable fairway! Love that disc! Other accessories to consider... -Sharpie! -I carry a hand warmer that is also a Battery pack and flashlight. (For cold weather rounds) -a super light weight windbreaker or jacket But that bag is sick I bet I could fit all kinds of fun stuff in there!
I’ve managed to build a very similar bag with many of the exact same discs. I probably throw about the same distances as you, but a touch shorter. My very best forehand bomb is going 350 and it’s usually closer to 300. Anyway, this was a good watch and makes me confident I’m heading in a logical direction building out a bag.
From physiological perspective cold water/liquid should be avoided in hot temperature. Warm drinks cool your body down better. Problem in that is that cool drink feels better although it is not really good for you. Cold drinks increases heat stroke risk and heats your body and warm drink cools your body in hot temperature. Weird but true. Even knowing this, I still prefer cold drink when it is warm or I am sweating even though it has the opposite impact. Just like showers when it is hot. Should take warm showers instead of cold.
Good medical/sport tape to cover blisters. It's not really something new players need to worry about, but when you get hooked and start playing dozens of rounds a week calus and blister management become very real.
As a Swede i would try to get Americans to pause more in the word IDOG so i gets more like E like in "evening" (american E sounds more like Swedish I)..then pause...then "DO" like in donuts..pause again the "G" like in go. . . .so E---DO----G ..and the "DO" part is fast. . its NOT E--DOG.....say the DO part, then stop....then G
Bugspray, multiple towels, adhesive plaster. Have a Lore, putters up top, Berg in front, puttputter at back, 1 reserv puttputter left pocket. Then the rest of them from left to right speed and stability, understable to overstable same as in your video
Nice video, thanks Greg! I like to keep my bag as light as reasonably possible. I have a cheap (but effective enough) Trooper, which has enough space to keep as many discs as I want to carry (usually 13-14 at the most). I organise my discs the same way you do, speed and stability going across.
The first time I ever played I was gifted 2 discs. An innova dragon, and an innova leopard. That was about 12 years ago. Didn’t play again for 10 years. Now I’m balls deep in it, and I still have those dx discs sitting in my closet. It’s funny to think about it now.
Great video. I really love the Lat 64 Maul for under stable 7 speeds. It has so much glide and I've even sidearmed it as my get out of a sticky situation disc
I really like an Axiom Fission Rhythm 170 gram or more for my straight to under stable fairway driver slot. My stock backhand drives are around 55 mph and full power I can get into the low 60s. Thrown on some hyzer the Rhythm will flip up and go straight for a long time, thrown flat it will turn reliably for me without flipping over. Early last year I picked up a Ezra Aderhold Squatch Link bag and really enjoy the open layout and tall side pockets.
The odd item I keep in my bag that comes in handy more often than you would think is liquid bandage. I disc all year round and during the winter my hands get super dry and are prone to cracking/splitting on fingers that contact the disc. Throw a little liquid bandage on those cracks and splits and you don't have to worry about throwing discs expanding the wounds. Also good for quick triage if you end up cracking a knuckle against a tree by accident while throwing in tight spots.
I carry a Fade Crunchbox…it will hold 12-13 inside + 3 in the putter pocket. It has an available carry harness if you want to carry it like a back rig but I just carry it as a shoulder bag even when playing 36. I would rather make do with 16 discs and have a lighter rig than carry a big backpack or drag a cart. The crunchbox can carry a 1L water bottle and has a pocket on the other end large enough for my light jacket and knee brace, plus a second pocket large enough for keys/charging bank/flashlight/etc. There is a clip on the front for a towel to attach to as well. It really has worked out to be the optimal setup for me. For really short courses I have a small canvas bag that only holds 6 discs and a putter on the outside. But anything more than a wide open 9 hole course I will get my other bag.
Nice timing, I was just thinking about redoing my bag! Edit: I'm using the exact bag you do in this video, same color way and everything. I really like the Leopard3 in Champion I-Dye for that 7 6 -2 1 spot but I've been trying the Falk which is a similar fight 9 speed, you seem to like Kastsplast a lot so give it a try.
@AndrewBeezy91 I love TSA my bag is a mix of them and innova, but first thing I noticed is they don't have flashing issues like some of innovas discs. I found that the nuance was more consistent than my leopard3, it would hold turn lines a lot better. I got it in aura plastic just in case you're wondering.
You are missing a few things that I always carry. My doggo is my caddy, so I carry a water dispenser for him, and poop bags. For me, I also carry snacks, like granola bars or cheese curds. Just got my 1st Squatch and plenty of room for everything, even in the smaller Lore
My bag is in a great spot right now. Trust every slot. P&A: - Fractal PA-3 for putting - Eclipse Envy - Glow Praxis (fav disc) - Proton Soft Tempo - Eclipse Tempo (more os) - Beat to death nerve Temple - Cosmic Electron Firm Proxy Mids: - Glow Mana - Neutron Hex - Eclipse Hex (beat in) - Eclipse Hex (new) - Prism Proton Pyro Fairways: - L64 Moonshine 2X Ricky explorer, I’ve got 3 of these all varying stability. Throw them everywhere. - Old PFN Star Valkyrie (rollers, mega flippy) - PFN Neutron Tesla - Fission Tesla - Aura Omen (mega beef) Distance Drivers - Champion Wraith - Glow Destroyer - Evelina Destroyer - Halo Maya (rollers, tailwind) - ESP force - ESP force (beat in) - Jawbreaker Z FLX Force When it gets windy I’ll throw in an Eclipse Resistor and Halo Emperor (cotton candy run) Love how everyone can build their own bag specific to their game, makes this sport really unique.
As a swede, i have never heard "idog" be used in a conversation, its a bit old timey and can therefore be subject to a LOT of dialect differences, but i think you are doing a fine enough job. Sidenote, just bought some "new" (pre-thrown) discs today, a Sockibomb Evader and a Opto Ice Orbit Pure and i love how they both fly. They will definately be a staple in my bag the coming year!
Interesting. My Rebirth Envy is stable, in the way Greg said stable means straight. I thought stable was like overstable, but like a 1 or 2 fade number (being stable) vs. a 3 or 4 (being overstable).🤷♂ But, I too have expected the Rebirth Envy to be super overstable, based on the RUclips video reviews of it. I guess maybe, because the only Envys I throw and putt with are the Fission Envy which seem quite overstable when they're new, for quite a while, the Rebirth Envy is perhaps less stable than the Fission runs.
@shawnwhite1645 I had another one and it flew stable. Wants to fly straight while also wanting to fade smoothly. Very nice. Which is also why I'm so surprised mine Flys like that
I use a pretty simple Lonestar bag that they sent to our college team. I try to carry as few discs as possible, so only have 1 duplicate in the bag. Having a sweat towel as well as a disc towel is essential for me for most of the year.
I would highly recommend the Cicada from Discraft to replace the F5. The cicada's flight numbers may be a bit deceiving as it is closer to a -2 or -3 in turn instead of the suggested -1.
I’m still at the regular backpack stage. Apart from the discs my bag has a flashlight and adhesive glow stickers for those low light rounds and a marker for when that ace comes. Also it has a fair amount of grass and dirt in it because I haven’t read Hitchiker’s Guide often enough and lack a towel. There’s no space for a towel… going to check out the sponsor now.
The 400 and 400G F5s were always the most understable. The original 2019 WACO F5s were a little turn, a little fade. (Perfect!) The KJ 500 were straight to fade! You could push them over a little and they'd come back. But they seems a little slower through the air. The clearish 750 were always the most OS and took an entire year of hitting trees before they'd start to drift right. I bag the 2019 WACO (I have a stack of them) and slot in some more OS runs when traveling and playing more tight woods courses.
I play mostly wooded courses (with a 330f max arm) and recently my most throw disc off the tee has been a mid weight Impulse at 9 5 -3 1. It’s my easiest hyzer flip and from standstill it flies straight on flat release.
If you have Squatch as as a video sponsor, it might be a good idea to mention their European site as well. They might appreciate it. I am not sponsored or linked to them in anyway, but noticed that you had only their US address.
In regards to the question about replacing the F5, why move to a different mold? I know the current one is getting too beat in, but it looks like the F5 is the right disc for that slot, so I think keeping it makes sense with a different F5.
I don't really throw rollers. I used to have an old Discmania Sunbird (the Genius mold) that was beat in and super flippy and I used that for shots that cut right super fast before my forehand was as good as it is now. The only rollers I throw now are flick rollers for weird get-out-of-jail shots but I think my Mamba could do a roller if I started it on anhyzer.
As a fellow Origin thrower, I’m letting you know that the Lumen Origin you have is the exception. Origin flight numbers are nonsense and it’s essentially a beadless wombat3
I hated the water bottle slot placement on it. Too far back and kept hitting my elbow on the bottles and were on the way when I took bag off or carried it on one shoulder. Otherwise was a nice bag. It is not the only bag that has similar bottle placement. I know that not everyone has the same problem and I also know that I am not the only who thinks the same. Personal things.
I go the opposite direction so High Speed Understable to Overstable, Throwing Putter's, Putting Putters and Approach Discs go up top with two, two and three respectively Currently it's an Eagle Envy/R2 or Glow Pixel, to Soft putting Pixels, a Zone OS, Zone Clone, and still working on finding a more understable approach disc at the moment but currently a Tempo and the rest of the bag is in constant flux but I really want to get my hands on a Proton Trail so upset that I missed that halloween drop
That dyed disc in the background that is light blue and orange. Is that a Zone? I dye discs in Ohio and I dyed one that from that side angle looks exactly like that. Would love to know if you picked it up!
I went from a cheap backpack to a DD Combat Commander, then added a Zuca. Then decide all that was too much trouble and went down to a six disc shoulder and ended up with a Pound Vagabond 😵💫
I'm interested if there are any bags that accommodate large diameter discs. I love throwing bites, zephyrs, and condors, but having one in my present bag is just awful. I'd love a bag with a little slide in pocket or something for large diameter discs.
I dumped the bag and went to a Ridge Roller cart. There is no going back now. Ironically, I have also cut down on the number of discs I carry and have worked a lot more on throwing angles.
These videos are fantastic - but, I'm a little surprised that a caveat wasn't added to "just play & enjoy" no matter what you have. Now I feel like a loser for sometimes just carrying 3 discs, my phone, and my keys. Other times I carry my full 5 disc bag, a rag, and my kids water bottle.
I like carrying a baseball to knock my discs out of trees that my retriever cant reach. Baseballs will never get stuck in trees and feel safer to throw upwards than, say a rock
Bro love your content. I am a 49 year old rookie. Your content with Caleb is so helpful. I need a squatch bag so bad. You should do a fag comparison.bi am using a Innova bag ( I bought at a yard sale, has multiple colors ) am realizing the squatch is the way to go
Since becoming a mom, I've learned to be both budget-conscious and stylish. kislux bags help me find the perfect balance between parenting and myself. They are both stylish and affordable, a true choice for moms.
No such thing as the perfect bag, there is just your bag and guess what your perfect bag could have absolute crap in it butt thats okay cause its what you like to throw
I have had both and both have pros and cons. I sold my Grip after trying Squatch. I would say that can't go wrong either. Grip's quality has down a lot since they moved their manufacturing from the US to China. This has been noticed by resellers as well in how many of those are being returned to them. Back board is one common issue. Grip is also heavier and don't like the high lower front part. Comfort points I give to Grip though.
Creative way to make an "in the bag" video!
I was just thinking the same thing
I also was looking for a similar mid slot and I found that the mint discs taco was perfect+that good plastic
I just got the Squatch Lore for Christmas. You forgot about snacks!
I carry a golf ball to get discs from trees that are out of reach for a retriever
Gotta love the bag review/Greg’s in the bag 2 for 1 jamboree. Great video, love the Kastaplast representation! Best plastic on the market
I feel personally attacked by this intro...
Glad I knew what I was talking about LOL
I second this. He damn near doxed my disc golf origin story. 😂
I had to share the opening with my wife because she just had to see this stranger tell my story.
Guilty
It's like he knows exactly what I did. Scary!
Took your advice and bagged multiple of the same discs molds! A Buzzz SS and a Buzzz OS are key in my midrange slots (although the Rollo is still my fav midrange) and I bag a K1 soft and a K3 hard berg!

Carry both in my Squatch Lore
Looking at My Disc Bag and pondering what I need to swap out and this video appears like magic. Amazing! (and slightly creepy)
One of the best accessories: cold beer
F5 has got to be the most slept on glidey understable fairway!
When I went from carrying 26-27 discs down to 16-18 (UP shift bag), my game improved greatly. I prefer to travel lightly.
Other accessories that is nice to have, that weren’t in your great video, are band-aids, sun protection, mosquito protection, a spare towel and a sharpie so you can get your aces signed on the track.

A little electric fan, cooling towel, and ice water is a must in Texas. 🥵
I was out trying to throw in snow driven by ~30mph wind gusts this afternoon. I'm a little jealous of those Texas problems.
From physiological perspective cold water/liquid should be avoided in hot temperature. Warm drinks cool your body down better. Very Very pretty Halo Star Mamba. I like this stamp more than your other ones. CLEAN!
Bugspray, multiple towels, adhesive plaster.

Great video. I will be making an in the bag video when I get my new bag soon. I love seeing and hearing peoples opinions on the discs they carry.

No mention of a place to store a 6 pack of beer. That's why something with wheels is preferred in my circle. 🍺
I really like an Axiom Fission Rhythm 170 gram or more for my straight to under stable fairway driver slot. My stock backhand drives are around 55 mph and full power I can get into the low 60s. If you’re looking for something that flies envy length but more overstable I personally champion the mint bobcat. It’s veryyy versatile

Super glue is a good alternative. Cheaper as well

Try the nuance, It basically replaced my leopard3 slot
@jae7349 I'll have to give it a try, never used thought space before but I've only heard good things
@AndrewBeezy91 I love TSA my bag is a mix of them and innova, but first thing I noticed is they don't have flashing issues like some of innovas discs. - Evelina Destroyer
- Halo Maya (rollers, tailwind)

- Jawbreaker Z FLX Force
When it gets windy I’ll throw in an Eclipse Resistor and Halo Emperor (cotton candy run)
Love how everyone can build their own bag specific to their game, makes this sport really unique.
Great idea!
I use a custom Pound bag. I love it.
My new rebirth envy is ridiculously understable. I guess I got a unicorn. Overstable plastic and overstable mold but it's still understable somehow.
Great video as always Greg!
I use a pretty simple Lonestar bag that they sent to our college team. I try to carry as few discs as possible, so only have 1 duplicate in the bag. Having a sweat towel as well as a disc towel is essential for me for most of the year.
that Zflex plastic's various color splotches are great camo for the disc when you're searching for it.
Interesting to hear about your elbow pain on backhand! i started doing some specific exercises and they seem to help a lot, for me at least
Replace f5 to a crave!🔥 disc
I would highly recommend the Cicada from Discraft to replace the F5. The cicada's flight numbers may be a bit deceiving as it is closer to a -2 or -3 in turn instead of the suggested -1.
Try a fission rhythm in the f5 spot it's an 8 speed but should work great.
OMG this intro is a laser beam into my chest. Hahaha
(Perfect!)
The KJ 500 were straight to fade! You could push them over a little and they'd come back. But they seems a little slower through the air.
The clearish 750 were always the most OS and took an entire year of hitting trees before they'd start to drift right.

Greg, you didn't talk at all about snacks. Snacks are very important to my disc golf experience, and every disc golfer I know.
Bug repellant is a big one for me where I live
DGA Vortex for understable Fairway driver would be my personal rec. I keep a lighter in my bag incase a disc gets gouge. Have you tried a birdie bag?
Have you tried the Lat.64 Maul for the understable fairway slot?
I was starting to wonder if Greg had a Trilogy boycott going on until he got to the Rive.
You should throw a birdie disc golf ultra in their metal flake. Great overstable midrange.
I have thrown the Rise once or twice, it was nice, I am throwing it again soon for a video but its def not as overstable as an Ultra
@SixSidedDiscs I haven't tried the rise yet. I want to but the stokely cardinal fills that spot for me currently
In regards to the question about replacing the F5, why move to a different mold? I know the current one is getting too beat in, but it looks like the F5 is the right disc for that slot, so I think keeping it makes sense with a different F5.
Hmm good question, I might do that, I think I tend to hop brands since we’re a retailer, so many options, I always want to try new stuff
Have you ever tried an Eternal Void (new Discmania-made MD4) for overstable mid?
I use the Dynamic Discs Commander for a bag.
What’s your roller slot
I don't really throw rollers. I used to have an old Discmania Sunbird (the Genius mold) that was beat in and super flippy and I used that for shots that cut right super fast before my forehand was as good as it is now.
The only rollers I throw now are flick rollers for weird get-out-of-jail shots but I think my Mamba could do a roller if I started it on anhyzer.

I carry a watermelon voyager lite because I guess I’m still a child at 33 lol
I use a Guru Sigr. Great bag.
Small basic first ait kit and tick remover
STABLE MEANS STRAIGHT!!!!! Thank you so so so so so much!
Hmm, maybe circle it and email a picture to sixsideddiscs@gmail.com and I can figure out which one it is.
I carry a first aid kit just in case. And a multi tool to fix my disc i they get damaged
O good callouts
I went from a cheap backpack to a DD Combat Commander, then added a Zuca. Then decide all that was too much trouble and went down to a six disc shoulder and ended up with a Pound Vagabond 😵💫
Brace for the dad jokes!
Are there other jokes?
I got a small cooler in my zuca cart for cold beers lol
Mozzie spray!
I'm interested if there are any bags that accommodate large diameter discs. I love throwing bites, zephyrs, and condors, but having one in my present bag is just awful. I'd love a bag with a little slide in pocket or something for large diameter discs.
I’m a rhyno man. If I need something to go left and not go far the thing is perfect.
Gotta have a knee pad for those scramble shots - unless you never throw into the rough
I dumped the bag and went to a Ridge Roller cart. There is no going back now. Ironically, I have also cut down on the number of discs I carry and have worked a lot more on throwing angles.
I tried replacing the f5. I tested 9 other molds. I got more F5's
Don't forget sun screen or bug spray, especially on on long hot summer day in a tournment.
I use a Zuca Compact with putter pouch and filled with discs from #Prodiscus
Deoderant should be a mandatory accessoirie.
Nice
Need a spot for 3 Coors lights per 9
Trash panda ozone is a dream
I carry 30 discs on average. 😂 some ovwrlapping but i like trying new stuff
You should do a fag comparison.bi am using a Innova bag ( I bought at a yard sale, has multiple colors ) am realizing the squatch is the way to go
The envy and the jester wild thing overlap. Both same slot. Pick one and get good with it.
Since becoming a mom, I've learned to be both budget-conscious and stylish. kislux bags help me find the perfect balance between parenting and myself. They are both stylish and affordable, a true choice for moms.
If you want to know how the names of Swedish discs are pronounced, use google translator.
No such thing as the perfect bag, there is just your bag and guess what your perfect bag could have absolute crap in it butt thats okay cause its what you like to throw
So a whole video as a advertisement for squatch? Kinda obvious and a let down.
Step one would be to throw away that squatch bag and go get a grip
I have had both and both have pros and cons. I sold my Grip after trying Squatch. I would say that can't go wrong either. Grip's quality has down a lot since they moved their manufacturing from the US to China. This has been noticed by resellers as well in how many of those are being returned to them.
Back board is one common issue. Grip is also heavier and don't like the high lower front part. Comfort points I give to Grip though.
