I've collected almost every single monograph on Brice and have been following his work closely for decades, as a painter. I'm devastated by his passing and struggle he's no longer with us, the one authority I looked up to for guidance and direction. RIP my friend.
Thank you, Paul. I hadn't paid much attention to Bryce Marden's work and now I see that I have been missing out on something good. Irrelevant passing thought: in this interview he reminds me of a young Marlon Brando... I suspect he would have been a good actor.
