Rohan is gonna be a true movie star
I saw the movie yesterday and it left me speechless! It was AMAZING. I hope Andy will keep directing in the future
They did a good job making Rohan look like he actually grew up in the jungle. The other mowgli looks like he's been relaxing, eating and living a stress free life, lol. This movie is starting to grow on me the more I think about it.
This young actor IS Mowgli. I was enchanted by his performance and cried real tears at his mistreatment by both animals and people. "both wolf & man and neither" was the perfect description of Mowgli. Best movie telling of the story, EVER!!

I have to think he was initially disappointed about the Netflix deal because that meant it almost completely bypassed theaters and definitely bypassed IMAX as well as the advertised 3-D version which was still mentioned in trailers in the summer of 2018.

Compared to the other one, the CGI was noticeably worse but other than that, it was just as good, just in a different way. Way more serious and less playful, but Rohan did fantastic and I really like the direction they went in. The other was a bit more "fun" but this had gravitas. They did a great job with this

The Jungle Book 2016 is better
No It’s Not! Mowgli is way Better because we’ve seen too many Disney greedy adaptations and at least this version was faithful and accurate to the original Book by Rudyard Kipling (1894).
