It is the second time a male has played Peter in this musical. My Aunt wrote the lyrics to this version which is the Broadway version of Peter Pan and I had been saying if you get the right voiced male they can play it.
@@peterboq1 oh I'm not complaining, I'm impressed, considering it had been standard to be a female. My favorite being Cathy Rigby since she really captured the childish playfulness of Peter
Surprised they still referred to tiger lily as “red skin”, they removed this from the professional productions and changed it to “brave noble warrior”...also this choreography looks like they maybe did a recent production of Oklahoma or Music man and recycled some of the dances
They are using from what I can gather as the original score and lyrics snd original choreography from the Broadway show before they went all PC with it. My aunt was the lyricist and I’m glade that they kept it as was written and composed. And glade to see a male playing Peter instead of a female.
Truly this is the Gold Standard to which all School Plays should be measured. Such a joy to watch, and I have, many times.
AWESOME production!
this is good
Foofa Lily, let’s smoke in piece-pipe!
Probably the first time a male played Peter
