First of all, GREAT VIDEO. I purchased in 1995 a craftsman 12" bandsaw, and the blade guides were absolute garbage. I have had this saw in storage ever since, strictly because of the poor guidance of the blade. Now that I know what to use to replace them, I can now put my saw to good use. Thank you very much.

Hey Jay, I just ran across this vid while doing some research for my bandsaw setup video. Great job! I see you've been at this RUclips thing for a while. And it shows! You're very comfortable on camera. I'm still kind of a noob. 🙃 New sub.

Thanks, Brett. I checked out your channel as well. Great approach. Contact me over at jay@dirtfarmerjay.com and let's talk about what you are doing. It appears you are in AZ based on some of the wall art. That is where we are originally from. Best, DFJ

I tried (junk) urethane tires on my 1980s 12" Craftsman after the original rubber ones lasted 30 years. I ended up with rubber again and no problems.

Thanks for letting me know if your experience. I had the inverse experience, the rubber tires were brittle and would dry out, urethane has been durable. Thanks for watching and writing!
