I love this for ashley. Like to most people she just seems clueless, but in reality this is her revenge on A-train for constantly going against the interests of the company and making everything so difficult.
There was two ways to take in that moment when he found out he had Blue Hawk's heart. 1. Being disgusted at having his heart of all people and having to live with the fact that the man he hated is now forever a part of him or 2. Having a dark satisfaction over ending him and taking his heart after he took his brother's ability to walk.
This is why I enjoy watching this show and I will probably continue to watch it even when Kripke and the gang cock it up with excessive targeted politics. Everyone in this show is so screwed up for different reasons. Everyone gets put in awkward situations. They have to learn to deal with. Just entertaining.

A-train Unalived him by basically sanding him down with superspeed against a stretch of road. A-Train kept using temporary Vought drug to boost his powers -at the cost of heart issues and overdosing. A-Train succeeded in Unaliving BlueHawk, A-Train has heart attack at end of it, then this scene kicks in. Idk if this shot here is supposed to make it look like they forced A-Train to have this as their "Public Statement" or if they assumed these events and A-Train is lying and rolling with the incorrect conclusion.

There is a side plot of A-Train having a heart condition because he was doping with compound V so as he killed blue hawk he suffered a heart attack so they transplanted blue Hawks heart into A-train because of the heart attack. So now he has the heart of the man he murdered for permanently crippling his brother in his chest while he gets away with murder for a second time. The heart is both an insult to him while reminding him that Vought owns A-Train and that they can do whatever they want. And he has to "play ball" with them.
He'd known that for awhile. Ashley had a previous scene with him where she called out all his many crimes including the murder of his girlfriend. He didn't give a damn about justice until his brother got crippled. He was never a hero and was always just out for himself. I think at this moment he's not the least but upset, he's just amazed that everything has somehow worked out for him and he's back on top.
Context for the ones who have not seen it: Blue hawk was a nazi superhero who permanently disabled A trains brother and claimed he attacked him after. A-train wanted justice but the company said no and covered it up. At Herogasm festival, chaos broke out and in the midst of it A-train (who had heart problems) grabbed blue hawk and dragged him over a road at sonic speed. He then passed out due to his health issues. When he woke up, this happened. Company covered it up again.
Can we just appreciate Ashley’s actress, she plays the role perfectly and displays the absolute crushing stress the character is under all the time. The Boys has such a great cast and every character is done beautifully
Nah, he hasn’t been close to revived yet, he screwed over starlight and the boys non stop during season 3, and we can’t forget that he was bragging about killing robin in the first episode and laughing about it, I’d say he’s the second worst in the seven
