Cane whip is definitely amazing. First thing that comes to mind is bloodborne. There's a weapon like that in game, but yah it suits Jade very well

Incredible trailer and one of the characters I find the most interesting in the whole game! Interesting detail - if you freeze frame the trailer at several points there are legitimately the Latin words for the seven deadly sins, or specifically, the eight evil thoughts of Evagrius Ponticus. Huge lore drop right there.
Can’t wait to pull for her.
There is also Aventurine's "A Moment Among the Stars - Inherently Unjust Destiny" that you can now watch. It's less than a minute and doesn't tell anything new, so you could add to some other reaction.

Jade is a really interesting character, much more depth to her than I was expecting personally. So I am really curious how you feel about her when she shows up in the story!
Gameplay wise she is very much intended to function in a follow-up attack team. With the IPC related characters in general (Topaz, Aventurine, Dr. Ratio) having a follow-up attack focus. Curious enough their main support character is Robin. I was going to try for Jade personally, since I have the full FUA team, but Firedly wrecked my savings lmao. Can't wait to see your reactions to her trailers and story too!

And this was the other Penacony patch character that was a surprise for me in how badly I want her lol. I already liked her look, but then they showed her whip and she’s pretty much Star Rail’s version of Ivy in Soul Calibur so thats an immediate “im pulling” for me, my wallet needs Hoyo to fucking stop 😂

What's impressive is I'm not pulling for her and that makes me sad....HSR has managed to make me sad about characters I am fine not having. That's impressive.

It belongs to the strongest franchise in anime with their base abilities giving them immeasurable speed. & my power scaling playlist has all the proof we need, my essay playlist also proves it has the best written characters in anime especially in the girl aspect.(which some shonen struggle with) Like generic anime channel’s shirou vid, it’s billion$ budget & ufotable come together to give us peak animation of any year they drop or period. It’s also the lotr of anime with lore on lore & galore.

I dont like Lisa a lot.... she is quite generic for me, but Jade is amazing.
Honestly a very lame trailer. They just went too hard with the dommy mommy step on me fanservice vibes and not enough on the 'make a deal with the devil' vibe and her being HSR's Satan with all the apples and snakes imagery; which IMO is a much more interesting aspects of the character. The way this trailer portrays her is that she's just a dommy mommy fanservice turned to 11.
Might just be the worst one for me.
trailers are just showcasing the character's personality while also showcasing the skills. So they went the dommy route otherwise the stomping wouldn't make sense. If you want to see her personality they usually do myriad celestia trailers where they showcase the story while also showcasing the personality. I personally say this one is good. Its definitely better than adventurine's where all he does is gamble against a robot while also dodging mecha dinosaurs. Trailer shows what she does when she's NOT making deals.
