The Pity system in HSR is much more friendly than in FGO. You're guaranteed a 5* after about 80ish pulls, however it's 50/50 whether or not it'll be the rate up for the banner. That's soft pity. Do another up to 80ish pulls and you're hitting hard pity which is going to be the banner 5*. Also pity carries over from banner type to banner type, so limited 5* pity will carry over to the next banner, so say you do 70 pulls on one but don't get it, then you'll only need another 10 or so on the next banner to hit Pity. Compared to FGO where you have to roll 300 times on a SINGLE banner to hit pity... it's very lenient. There's also tons of free Stellar Jades to get each month and they're very generous on gift codes for Jades as well. Both Black Swan and Acheron are both gone for the time being but they'll be back eventually; I count myself lucky to have gotten both as they're an amazing team.

Indeed, 90 hard pity for Character banners and 80 hard pity for Light Cone (pretty much the equivalent of "weapons" but not really) banners

70 is "soft pity" where the rates increase on each individual pull untill you reach 100% guarantee at 80 pulls for "light cones" (the signature weapon/gear banners) and 90 pulls for characters (hence "hard pity")

Nice to see u back again and the story has become truly insane with the 2.0 and 2.1 stories.
Acheron's banner is still out(3 days left) and i strongly suggest u get her, she's the strongest dps character in like ever! she can even instant kill enemies in the open world so that u don't have to fight them.
I strongly suggest u check out her character trailer, its just as good as that last animated short.
