Basically makes it a no-brainer. If this 3050 was going for around $179-$199 max, then it would have some appeal. But as it stands right now, its looks like total garbage value.
but Rx6600 is not in OC and for 8Gb GDDR6 and RTX3060 is in OC auto mod + 12Gb GDDR6 for 490€ In MSI RTX3060 Gaming X ;) Just look for the futur not for the present. I've AORUS ELITE RTX3060 12Gb. (545€).
@@M4v3rick807 I disagree. Never buy for the future, and only buy for the present. In the future there could be $100 GPUs 2x faster than a 3060 when that level of performance is needed for most people. Best to leave the future in the future, but that's just my opinion.
@@TheGoodOldGamer well here i am with my 10 year rig worth every cent... i7 3770, 16gb ram, GTX970 since 2014 so future proofed asf and reason why i am watching this video is because i can sell 970 for good price and buy 3050 for decent money and push out few more years out of the system
Listen man, 30fps is playable for most people, even 40-50 fps is playable. If you look at steam hardware survey the majority of people have gtx 1060, gtx 1660, gtx 1660ti, gtx 1650, gtx 1050ti. You think people run 50-60 fps on those cards, some of them prefer visuals over performance or performance of visuals. I would say anything under 30 fps could be considered unplayable or enjoyable. I know people who would kill a man for 60fps on high settings new titles. I liked the video but your words you chose is just a bit unrealistic. If you said you prefer 60 fps but say 30+ fps is playable or at least enjoyable since most of these people cannot afford a good card but I have to admit that you have a good point but all im saying is you could at least say 30 fps is playable because I remembered a day when I could not afford a good pc for 10 years, because I was studying or could not get a job. I played days gone on a gt 1030 for 3 years on 15-30 fps on 720p lowest settings or rocket league on 720p low settings 30-50 fps. I think the sweet spot for the rtx 3050 would be 200 dollars since the rx 6600 is 20-30% faster. I got my rtx 3050 for 250 dollars since the rx 6600 is more expensive in my country, but only one retailer recently put the price a little bit lower than the rtx 3050. I pay 80 dollar import fees before tax. . But overall good informative video and thank you for the video. :)
RX 6600 is basically GTX 1080ti/3060 level and available for $299 on Amazon right now
