I`ve got the 8GB OC Ventus version but since I only game at 1080 I can`t complain. At the time I got a good deal on it and couldn`t find an RX 6600 here in the states.
I got the Ventus version of this card, it's a solid card but I kind of wished I would have got the RX 6600 now but at the time I found a decent deal for the RTX 3050 Ventus card so ended up with that.
right now theres a Discount Price for 300 Dollars for this Graphics Card, and the thing is, is that I Currently Had a AMD RT 580 Card in my Current PC, So I Am thinking about switching my Graphics Card Into this Newer one, Good or bad idea?
I had the asus phoenix single fan model for a while. It was a nice card quiet, didn't use much power and solid performance especially with dlss. It's problem is the price to performance sucks, especially if you're willing to go with AMD who at present offer soon really good price to performance cards.
Thanks for great review Mike 🥰👍😇. I was fortunate enough to purchase an RTX 3050 “Asus Phoenix” ITX version GPU for $255USD here in Australia 🇦🇺 and it runs sub 60c under a full load or gaming (RTX / DLSS running) so the 50-series chip is easy to cool imo. The RTX 3050 I feel should be a $200-220USD GPU … but recent world events of the past 2.5years ….. we all know them 😵💫🤔 has seen this price fit into the 60-series RTX series of old 😢😡. Nvidia did create a great chip and it’s much better value, imo, than the RRP of the 6500XT 🤦♀🤦🤦♂💀☠
Hi Mike! From where I live in, the rtx 3050 8g (the windforce OC version from gigabyte, to be accurate) is cheaper than a gtx 1660 super 6gb OC. I'm currently using a R7 5700g, which one should I buy? Thanks
This is the card i was looking at buying when i was looking at upgrading from a GTX1650, If they had actually made enough of these cards and priced them better I would have got one. in the end I brought the MSI Mech 2X RX 6600. cant fault it and in honesty im glad the 3050 was such a pig to get hold of and the price
they are in some cases similar to a GTX1080 level which is still a decent card and highly praised. I guess the RTX3050 was just the wrong card with the wrong price
the price of the 3050 is insane in NL. it goes for 350 euro still. concidering i got my 3060 for that. but yea its a nice midrange card if it was 200 dollar maybe
Yeah it's not a terrible card, it's just priced itself out of the market. If these had launched at £219.99 in the UK they'd have been an excellent budget option with the 8gb buffer and DLSS. As it is they're priced out of the market by used GTX1070 or even GTX1080 if you're spending less than £200, or RX6600 if you want to be new for sub £300. Ray tracing is a non-issue at this budget end so I don't even factor it in.
This is the best GPU on the Market in my opinion (not the 3050) the model of card i mean ! as you said its basically the cheap High end option my 1660ti is the same and my new 3070 in my basket is also the same card i swear by this GamingX line

The cooling looks way over the top for such a low power gpu. The 3050 Gigabyte Eagle in my daughters PC stays well within spec with its much more modest cooling solution and plenty quiet. A decent enough card but far too expensive for what it is.
8gb with a bus speed of 128 running at 1080 is fine ,you can run high end games on 6gb or below that so it s a good card i am sure you can use vr with it basically using a 1070 card ps your frame rate on cyberpunk you had a screen stretch mark lol on the middle of the frame when you started walking .
A little constructive feedback. Try to make your videos around 10 minutes. even tho your vids are well detailed its too dragged out, most people wont sit through 20 minutes, ive seen numerous polls of this question being asked by channel owners. i think you should change your approach to this to help your channel get more popular. i myself dont watch 20 minutes unless its a very interesting topic that doesnt revolve around 1 product. Also instead of titling your video MSI 3050 Ti review , a much more catchy title would be "Is the RTX 3050 worth it in late 2022?" If that makes sense. followed with some gaming benchmarks
It's a real shame about the price on these cards, if they were 170-180 then it might make sense and given the fact new 2060's can be had around the 200 mark just makes the 3050s dead in the water. For by all that you can't go wrong with MSI's Gaming X series, been knocking it out the park for a long time now with their GPUs.
The 3050 is in a weird place now at around 250, cause the rx 6600 is a better choice at this price point 🙂 but for just 50 more you can get a 3060 with more performance and vram 🤔

not really the rx6600 smokes it in most games, if you need CUDA cores for premiere then that is a very different outcome

I'm surprised NVIDIA hasn't been telling the numerous other brands that sell their cards to print DLAA as one of the listed features next to DLSS.
I paid to much for the 3050 ventus model new on release. 3050's should be £150-£199. I'm not buying a GPU for few years now

what's the difference in rtx 3050 gaming x vs ventus vs suprim x
it will be a few percent at the most so likely only 5-10 fps more
Here's what I would like to know: just of ghits and siggles Mike, did you run it on 1440P to see how it did?
did run it at 4k and it needed a large amount of DLSS and scaling to make it decent. 1440p should be pretty easy it isn't a huge jump
