I have a 2023 model 5k and they seem to be equivalent to an Olight Baton 3 but less expensive & a better tint in my opinion. It's small, puts out a pretty good beam, and has an uncomplicated UI. I saw that one on the Wurkkos website but I as I already have a black one, I didn't pick it up. The WK15 are the 21700 version of the WK03 and has a couple of different emitters offering either spot or flood favored patterns. I've dropped mine more than I should have & they keep on working.
I use a semi deep carry clip off an old Sofirn sf10 that fits the upper bout ring and just covers the button by about a 1/4. This way lockout isnt' needed and you can still turn it on and off. Bezel up is great for grabbing it and pulling it out of your pocket.
Thanks for your review. It looks like a nice light, especially for the $20 it costs with the 30% Amazon coupon. The gold color looks great. According to the Wurkkos website, the 519A model has brightness levels of 2, 15, 150, 500 & 1200 lumens, while the SST40 model lists 3, 100, 350, 800 & 1800 lumens. I wish the 519A model had a brightness level between 15 and 150, maybe 50 or 60 lumens. I also wish Wurkkos would put a deep-carry, two-way pocket clip on these lights.
I received mine several days ago. I really like the golden body color and the neutral tint, with no visible green or magenta. Oddly, the color temp measures about 5700K with the app I use, rather than 5000K. That said, in use the color temp looks fine to me - not too cool and not too warm. Also, the high CRI is nice - reds really show well with this light. The only flaw I found with it is that a USB-C plug falls out of the port too easily. You have to lay the light down where it can't move and check that it's plugged in fully to make sure it's charging.
My WK03 arrived the other day and I got the black one with the SST-40 6000~6500K 1800 Lumens. Its about ~$14 USD normally and about ~$11 USD on sale and I got mine for ~$8.50 USD and its a pretty damn good value for the price. The lockout mode wasn't something I expected to use but I realize that while running the switch was getting hit by other objects in my bag. So I engaged lockout and it was all good. Mine also arrived with a free magnetic tailcap, not sure yet what I'll use it for since the WK03 isn't a right angle light where the magnetic cap would be really useful. So for now I'll be using the regilar tail cap. I would have loved if the clip could be flipped since I could just wear a cap and clip it on there for convenience, but yeah the body can't be flipped.
Holy cow, 8.50 is the lowest price I’ve heard of for an 18650 flashlight. The inclusion of the magnetic tail is nice. Flipping the clip would be nice. Perhaps this will be accomplished on future versions but this light is still fantastic -especially for that price.
@@PardonMyEnglish Yeah the price of 8.50 (more of 500 in the local currency in my area) is stupidly low that I really had to pull on it. More powerful flashlights like the Sofirn SC31T and SC31 Pro are about 18~20 USD and I find that it's weirdly cheaper than what I find online on reviews like yours. But I didn't pull on them (yet) since I don't need too bright of a light right now.
The Gold model 519a has 1200 Lumens, the Black 6500K sst-40 has 1800 Lumens 😉
Ah, thank you. I will pin this comment.
The reason I went with the black. Gold had downgraded performance. 🔦

This flashlight looks like a great budget recommendation for an olight baton 3 pro.

I just wish that they'd start putting more efficient drivers in their lights. Wurkkos FC11c is a good start
Deep carry clip all the way. I think a black clip would look cool
cool thanks for sharing
