The fact that the people who made robot chicken also made the Lego Movie makes me really appreciate these shorts

The last scene is an exact recreation of building with my siblings as a child. The heads are cool, despite what my brother and sister said.

If you compare the lego house in the last sketch, with the final scene with the kids, you can see that the first house is intricate and extremely well thought out, whereas the second looks identical but it is a simple construction. Nice eye for detail RC!

The little horror twist with Lego heads being part of the house is quite clever. The disturbance of that can work with Legos since the heads can be used that way.

For context, the novel was set in a planet colonized by farmers yearning for simple ways but pretty much forgotten about their origins when they got cut off thanks to flesh devouring "threads" and had "creationist vs. Evolution" arguments for how they got on Pern by descendent scholars (with former being right by technicality of being a former colony).
