Thats not a cutlass. Its an american civil war calvary sword. I have the same model but with a reenforced handguard and sheath

Well, since we're correcting people, the correct term for the "leather tube" that the sword goes into is "sword frog"

+Assassin's Costume the only real difference is the length if the blade. A cutlass is normally between 22-27 inches, a saber blade is normally over 30 inches long. I'm no expert but it can be easy to confuse them
